About this property

One of the most spectacular lake and mountain views on Lake Cumberland! Built in 2013 in the gated community of Lake Cumberland Resort with 4 bedrooms containing 3 queen beds (2 in upstairs room) and 2 king beds, TV's in every room, 3 full bathrooms, (all linens provided) fully furnished kitchen, main floor fireplace and entertainment area, downstairs rec room with additional television and pool table and upper and lower decks to enjoy the view. (The biggest little house you will have ever visited). Convenience of washer/dryer in the basement. Huge windows to soak up the scenery from the kitchen and living areas on the main floor. Perfect location for families with children as you can put the kids in the upstairs room, which has plenty additional space for a pack and play, etc., while adults can spread out in the other 3 bedrooms. Quiet section of the water, away from the commotion of the main lake. Boat lovers welcome as you may launch your boat off the private ramp located minutes from the house. If you are simply looking for a quiet place to enjoy and possibly soak up some rays, the small swimming pool in our gate is a 2 minute drive up the hill.

Home like feel, safe, and beautiful view

The pictures online didn't do it justice. The view was beautiful from the back decks and windows of the house. The home had a good set up for our family with bathrooms on each level, 4 bedrooms/5 beds, and lounging/play space for everyone. If you plan on cooking, grocery items are about 30 minutes away and down the mountain. The kitchen is not fully stocked, so also may need your go to items. Lovely neighborhood and a sense of community at the little general store/cafe. They had a live band one night. Beautiful tourist attractions within 30 minutes. Great stay!

Great Stay

The house had everything we needed. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of room. Loved sitting on the deck and watching nature. Owners were so great.

Comfortable Family Space

This is a great place to relax with family (or friends). The inside is spread out enough to hang out with each other, but there are enough places (porches, lower level) where you can sneak off to read if you want.

Peaceful Weekend Getaway

Cumberland has become a home away from home for us and this rental was the perfect home for our family for Labor Day weekend. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Just what we needed!

As a boating/lake loving family, we wanted to provide our children the opportunity to build memories in a home where we could feel comfy while inside, enjoy a view you simply can't get from anywhere in OH, rely on the conveniences of launching our boat within a 5 min. drive and establish a place our kids will want to visit good ole Mom and Dad, once they're all grown up and moved away. We hope you can make as many memories in the confines of these walls as we intend to enjoy.

Why they chose this property

Lake Cumberland is one of our favorite places to visit as, especially from this home, you can enjoy a scenic view without looking in someone's back window while in the home yet from the water, regardless of where you may venture, the surroundings have been maintained in their natural element. A rare find on many lakes we have traveled.

What makes this property unique

The warmth this home provides, especially on the main floor, with the pine wood floors and back wall as well as huge A frame windows allowing for all day light and gorgeous views caused us to fall in love with this location and home.
