My 60th birthday celebration

At first glance everything seemed fine with the rental. And then we discovered a plethora of things that needed to be fixed. IE: our shower, garbage disposal, dirty oven, broken tiles, loose 3rd floor railings etc, etc. The owners are very nice and promptly sent someone to fix the problems. We did enjoy some aspects of the property. IE: Three different floors which was a plus for our large family and 5 grandchildren. The game room is nice. The owners provided a Christmas tree for us which was much appreciated by our grandchildren. In summary, this is a very nice property but the owners must do more preventative maintenance and upkeep.

House in Punta Gorda

The house was very large and decorated nice. It was located in a very nice neighborhood as well. We had 2 issues that we were able to deal with. The first issue was when we arrived at the home, the entire house was filthy. We had to clean from 3rd floor to the 1st floor and wash all of the linens. After cleaning the house it was a comfortable place to be. Our second issue was, one of the neighbors called the police thinking that we were squatters. Another neighbor called the police because they saw us barbecuing on the 2nd floor porch and they said it was a disturbance in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, our family is a mix of races ( black, white, latino) and I guess they were not accustom to seeing so many minorities in the area with nice cars. Besides those two issues we had a great time and enjoyed the house. We were also able to rent a boat for a day and that was enjoyable. The owner Janet is a very nice lady and she was very apologetic about the issues that occurred.

Family reunion

A terrific location for our reunion. Boat out back, tennis and pickle ball close, plenty of room for 4 families. We love Punta Gorda and will come back again soon!

Beautiful House, wonderful location

Enjoyed a wonderful Romaric get away with my wife. The town is great. There were car shows on the weekend, a weekend market, as well as a festival. Such a great place! Must check out Fishermans Market if your in the area. The house is beautiful, clean, furnished, right on the water... The property manager is also wonderful. She was on top of our needs and handled them rather quickly from the moment we inquired about the place to the moment we checked out.

Why they chose this property

This property has the most desired address in town! Located right on the canal and only a couple of minutes to Charlotte Harbor either via boat or car. There is a 40" boat dock available in the back yard for the renters to use. Literally only a couple of minutes from the nearest beach. 2 doors down from the Isles Yacht Club (a reciprocal location).
