Above and beyond our expectations!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was in a very nice and quiet location. Yet all attractions were easily accessible. The pictures accurately show the apartment. It is very clean and accommodating. We stayed four adults and had plenty of room. I can't say enough about how lovely our hostess, Isabella, was! She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and ensure our stay was wonderful. She had maps and Rome guides available for our reference. She met us upon our arrival and showed us not only around the apartment, but walked us out front so we knew where the bus stop was, good restaurants, groceries, and banking.

We left our camera on the local bus on route to the Vatican. I messaged Isabella and by the time we got back, she was able to locate it. She picked us up and took us to the bus depot to claim it. Just one of the many ways Isabella went out of her way to make sure we had a nice stay in Rome. I just can't say enough about her and her lovely apartment!!

Owner's Response: Ann Marie, during your stay you brought up an issue and I was lucky enough to resolve it. It is my duty to also make the holidays in my apartment pleasurable and memorable. I hope to say again to you and Ray "You are welcome" :-) Isabella

Great location, very helpful host

  • 5 of 5

We are an Australian family with a 13 year old child. The location of the apartment was great...away from the busy tourist areas but a short walk to a bus interchange to take you anywhere in Rome. The apartment was very well maintained and the owner was very attentive that everything met our needs. I would definitely recommend the apartment.

Our Home In Rome - Paradise!!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent a month in this wonderful apartment in the Prati area. We needed a spacious, home-like apartment well-equipped for cooking, with easy access to public transportation, grocery shopping and banking, and away from the very crowded, touristy streets of central Rome. Teulada House was the PERFECT place. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos and video, but even better, since the generous sizes of the rooms are more apparent in person. Every inch of the apartment is spotlessly clean and freshly painted. Isabella has beautifully decorated each room with art and books, travel mementos and attractive, comfortable furnishings. Bathroom towels are big and plentiful, there are loads of hangers and knobs for storing clothes, a very large drying rack to use after doing laundry in the washing machine, a trolley for grocery shopping, umbrellas, an extra day bag and the WIFI is very strong. Isabella thinks of everything a guest might need. The balcony overlooks a quiet street with no traffic and there is no noise from other residents in the building. All the neighbors we met were very cordial, greeting us with good morning or evening. The apartment building is in a well-lighted, well-traveled (by pedestrians) street with 2 nearby coffee bars/carry-out lunch places, people going to work, neighbors walking their dogs, and is away from the dense/crowded older parts of Rome. A well-stocked grocery store is a 5-minute walk; adding a couple minutes gets you to a large indoor market with an amazing array of fresh, local produce, meats, cheeses, hand-made pasta and ready to take away meals. Prati is not inside Rome’s historic center, but is very close to Vatican City. And by using the convenient nearby bus hub with 6 bus lines, you can easily get to all the important sights in old Rome and to various metro stations. One of the exceptional aspects of Teulada House is the owner, Isabella who provided a delicious pizza lunch because we arrived by train after lunch time. She was tremendously helpful in explaining how to operate everything in the apartment, gave excellent travel directions and was always available to answer questions during our stay. During the month someone came to do a thorough cleaning, change linens and provide fresh towels. She often called to ensure that all was satisfactory and suggested other things we might want to see. This is a fantastic place to stay!! Contact Isabella. You will be so happy you did!!

Superb apartment , Best owner ever!

This apt. Is absolutely beautiful. It is spacious, well appointed, very comfy and so very, very clean. The best part though is the owner Isabella. We have rented through vrbo for years and have never encountered anyone as helpful as she is. Words can't explain how much she does to make your stay easy and enjoyable. She even brought flowers to me for my birthday❤️She arranged our airport taxi, she had breakfast food waiting, maps and books to show all bus and metro routes which is explains thoroughly and then to top it off she drives you to the top of the mountain for a city view and then around the neighborhood so you know where the bus station, the supermarket and the best gelato place😀򐁉s located. She had a binder full of restaurant recommendations, language translations, etc. By staying here, you will ensure yourself a great abd easy trip to Rome😀򐀽򐈀😀򐀽򐈀

An excellent choice for Rome, everything you need and more

  • 5 of 5

We, 2 couples, stayed at Isabella's in September for 4 nights. Our stay could have not been better!

Isabella is a welcoming warm and generous host, a true ambassador for her city.

She arranged our taxi pick up from the airport and provided a short local tour to the nearby grocery store and the bus loop, illustrating to us how to purchase a bus ticket. Being by the bus hub made it easy to access ancient Rome as well as the Vatican.

Isabella shared her extensive knowledge, experience and advice willingly and graciously.

The apartment itself was bright, cheery, clean and well equipped; everything we needed for our stay. Isabella's decor,

books and knick-knacks added to the warmth and homey feel.

The location is in a quiet area of Rome which was nice to return to after a hectic day of site seeing in a noisy city.

We had a great stay.

Bright, clean and centrally located

  • 5 of 5

A lovely spacious apartment. Apartment is clean and well maintained in a quiet cul de sac, could hardly believe we were in central Rome. Air conditioning a real bonus with temperatures in the mid 30's. A short walk down the road to a bus terminal where you can hop on a bus to most of the main sites. Vatican a 5 minute bus ride. Around the bus station is a variety of restaurants and a couple of supermarkets, Mondo Arancina is a lovely little cafe at the bottom of the road ideal for breakfast with great for croissants and pastries for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment to anyone.

The owner was most helpful and left us with her mobile number in case we needed any help. She also made us aware of the Roma pass which is very good value for money allowing any number of bus, metro and tram rides and entrance to 2 attractions, this made navigating the city easy and inexpensive but I would recommend at least one taxi ride for the thrill of it.
