Beautiful condo in a beautiful area!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great experience staying in this condo in Moab. We have rented many VRBO properties and this was one of the best. It was impeccably clean, fully furnished, and a great place to spend a few days. It is in great, nearly new condition. It was nice to have a garage as well. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub (temperatures of each were perfect--nice warm pool, and the hot tub was also just the right temperature). It was a very short walk to the pool.

We enjoyed 3 days visiting Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point State Park, and the area surrounding Moab. Don't miss the sunset at Dead Horse State Park! The hikes to Landscape arch and Delicate arch are not to be missed either.

Each day it was great to return to such a nice condo to relax and enjoy the area. As far as bedding, the master king was great, the queen good, the twins were fine, but as mentioned by other reviewers, the futon is not good for two--maybe would be okay for kids.

But all in all, a great stay in a great unit. If we return we would definitely stay here again.

We loved it here. It was a nice condo with all the amenities. Only challenge was the hot tub was not so hot but it is early in the season. :) We will stay here again :)

Clean, modern, very accommodating, extremely comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

Clean, modern, very accommodating, extremely comfortable! A perfect place for a quick two night stay in Moab for our family of eight. From the Wi-Fi to the cable television to the bedrooms to the kitchen accommodations to the beautiful views etc. We will definitely come back here again. We kept the four wheelers home on this trip and just hiked. Very good proximity to some of the best hiking in the world.

Good time in Moab area

  • 3 of 5

6 adults stayed here for 7 days. We are all hikers and enjoyed the many trails in Arches and Canyonlands. We liked the location being away from town (6 miles) since we didn't go into town often and liked the quiet. I would rate the condo as average. I have stayed at many places over the years at about the same price point that were better. For instance the cups were cheap acrylic, a couple of them had cracks in them that we didn't notice until we set the table and found liquid leaking out of them. The twin beds are not made for adults - super uncomfortable, same with the loft futon. It has a big bar/crease in the middle that made it uncomfortable for our friend who had to sleep there. Other items of note:

- no extra pillows or blankets

- all cupboards were labeled with contents (seems really weird and have never seen this). For instance 16 plates, 10 cups, etc. Not sure why things were counted and labeled? for renters or cleaners?

- TV is a smart TV but the internet is very slow so trying to watch any streaming media is useless. Also the cable box is connected via coax which means TV channels are not shown in high def/digital - ie: screen is cropped. Disappointing to say the least. Not sure if cable company doesn't offer an upgrade or what the deal is with this. Also would have been nice to have some directions for the two TV remotes. A couple of times while trying to access streaming video the TV got "stuck" on some function and we had to unplug and start over. Lots of dust behind TV.

- Club house with showers and hot tub was nice and a short walk from the condo. With all of us needing showers after hiking it came in handy.

- We cooked all of our meals at the condo. There were pots and pans and a set of knives. Other amenities in kitchen were minimal.

- Nice Weber grill on the patio and grill utensils

- View of the mountains from the condo is nice as it is a corner unit.

- Upstairs bathroom towel rack fell off as it is not secured well. Also the kitchen faucet knob fell off while we were there. These are simple things to fix but it shows a lack of attention to maintenance and it seemed like one more thing that was disappointing as the week went on.

- Living room has one couch and love seat - seating for 5. If you have more people to watch TV or play a game it won't work out well.

- Upstairs bedrooms are small so there is not enough room for a dresser to use. Everything must be placed in the closets or on the beds.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. I will take note to your suggestions where I can improve. I'm always open to feedback. I'm sorry you were disappointed in the cups, beds, furniture and tv. In this development, cable is the only option as satellite dish units are not allowed. I located the two cups with cracks and threw them away. We label the contents in the kitchen so the cleaning staff can keep inventory of what should be there, I think it's a pretty common procedure for rentals. We do have some glassware, but the majority of the drinking cups are the acrylic because they tend to break less as is often the battle with rental units. If there was something particular in the kitchen you felt would be useful, please let me know and I'm happy to supply that. I can assure you that I am attentive to maintenance and am sorry about the towel bar and faucet handle. They have been repaired and towel bars have been replaced with hooks as this is the third time this year they have been ripped out of the wall. Thank you again for staying and I appreciate your feedback as it helps me improve for future tenants. Regards, Becky
