The "Carpenter" suite is the former live/work setting of a local woodworker. Many of his relics are visible today- from the heart-pine ceilings in the screened patio to the salvaged wood used to construct the 14' bar.

This unit offers 2 Queens, 4 Twins and a pullout sofa- all with custom made mattresses, plush Malouf Egyptian linens and hand-made comforters. 2 Full Bathrooms with complimentary Gilchrist and Soames toiletries. A lavish kitchen/bar/den area is the focal point of the property. A twin EZ bed was recently added.

Disappointing

On the positive side ; bathrooms clean and modern , bedrooms comfortable. Property manager responsive . The living room area / common space was worn , outdated and looked dirty . The two swivel chairs were threadbare and one is ready to topple over . The 4 bar stools were made of tin/ metal and were very uncomfortable and the chairs around table also uncomfortable. The rug was dated and appeared dirty and a hazard . While it was only a couple blocks to King Street , the neighborhood was a little sketchy . Would not recommend

Great house in a fantastic location

We stayed here for the college graduation weekend and it was great. The house had nice, comfortably bedrooms and a great common space for us to sit and enjoy all together. The little action is ideal for king street shops and restaurants.

Great for a bach party

Perfect place for a bachelorette party. So much entertaining room, adequate bed space, 2 bathrooms. Plenty of linens/towels provided. Keep in mind there were no cooking pans and the ice machine doesn't work, other than that the kitchen was pretty stocked. Walking distance to bars such as Uptown Social, which was super handy, and some small grocery stores. Host also gave us info for a parking deck a couple blocks down - cost $50-65 total for 3 nights. Slept 10, one slept on the pull out couch (not too comfy), and another on a provided twin size blow up mattress that was off the floor which was neat. Thanks for helping make the bride's weekend amazing!

Loved this unit.

The only thing I would suggest is if you offer an ironing board and iron you may want to have a iron pad and cover on the ironing board. I had to iron on blankets. Other than that it was a great experience
