About the property

1850s Fully Restaured Hunting Domain with Spendid Hill Views

Fully restaured in 2014, this 400sqm historic villa allies modern comfort and traditional provençal beauty.

Built in the 1850s, it served as a hunting domain for the Château de Pioule until the beginning of the 20th century. The property has 25 ha (=61 acres) of protected land - including a 2ha (=4 acres- luxurious garden around the house - and offers stunning views of the 'Massif des Maures' and the 'Vieux Cannet'.

Artisanal tile floors and an imposing stone façade keep the villa cool even under the brightest provençal sun. There are 5 bedrooms decorated with style and wooden furniture; 4,5 bathrooms, all created by local ceramic artist Alain Vagh ; a fantastic 80 sqm home cinema with top notch audio system; a large and cosy living room. The high ceilings, exposed wooden beams and gigantic fireplaces give the property its traditional Provencal character.

But in the summer, you will mostly enjoy the outdoors, lunch in the shadow of olive groves and old oak trees, naps by the beautiful 17meters mosaïc-tiled pool, and long walks around the pond and through the forest.

If you like to stay in shape, we transformed the barn into a little gym with a rowing machine, a stationary bike, an elliptical trainer, a bench with weights, some pilate equipment and a table-tennis.

For outdoor fun (besides the pool, of course), we also have a 'pétanque' field in the garden.

Horse-riding for adults and children is available 5 minutes away. Tennis court (possibility to have private lessons) available 10 minutes away.

Surroundings include many traditional provençal villages. Saint-tropez is only 40 minutes away. And nature lovers and adventurers can explore the Gorges du Verdon.

Shopping mall, boulangeries and markets are 5 to 15 minutes away.

You will have full access to the house and its guest studio :

1st floor : kitchen, dining room, living room, guest bathroom.

2cd floor :

Bedroom 1 : super-king size bed (2m / 2m)

Bedroom 2 : indonesian canopy double bed (1m40)

Bedroom 1 and 2 share a full bathroom on the second floor + separated toilet.

Bedroom 3 : king size bed (1m90) with ensuite bathroom + Air Conditioning

Floor 3 :

Bedroom 4 : double bed (1m40) + full ensuite bathroom + Air Conditioning

80 sq meters living room / home cinema

Guest studio :

Double bed (1m40) + full bathroom with italian shower + Silent Ceiling Fan

Possibility to add extra beds for children in bedroom 1, 2 and/or 3.

Pool and garden services are included in the price. We recommend house cleaning services at least twice a week. Possibility to have on-site cleaner and cook.

1 hour drive (door to door) from nice international airport.

Why Charleyne chose Le Luc

The Villa was built in the 1850s as a hunting domain for the Chateau de Pioule. When my family bought it, it had been abandoned for over 10 years, but we instantly fell in love with the charm of its majestic stone façade, the heigh ceilings, the 200 years old provençal tiles and the gigantic fireplaces. The calm and relaxing beauty of the landscape, the views over the Massif des Maures and old village, the lush vegetation made us feel transported in a dreamland. We started to renovate it in the beginning of 2014, and tried to keep as much of the original features of the house as possible, while making it a comfortable, modern house that would suit all the needs of a large family. The 2ha fenced garden is still undergoing some renovation.

What makes this chateau / country house unique

It is rare to find a place with so much charm and character. We can guarantee that you will instantly be seduced :)

Wonderful weekend in Provence

Our 4-days stay in Villa Pavillon could not have been more pleasant! We were a group of eight between family and friends and we had a great time in this special property

The House is well equipped, charming and the pool is wonderful!

The host was very helpful and everything went so smoothly, without any problems.

We are looking forward to come back!

Beautiful property, perfect Provençal getaway

I booked at the very last minute for a family and friend reunion week-end (3 days). We were looking for a nice place to relax, be together and enjoy the great weather and food of Provence : this place far exceeded our expectations ! We are used to the French Riviera but the atmosphere of this place was very special. The house beautifully decorated and so cosy, and the pool area is just heaven. We felt so good there we only left the property once to go grocery shopping (and wine shopping to the next door vineyard, excellent rosé!!). We will definitely come back for a longer holiday.

Très agréable séjour

Très agréable séjour passé dans cette immense et belle propriété.

Parfaitement équipée, elle convenait magnifiquement pour les jeux de nos enfants, nos repas et notre repos.

Adultes et enfants ont pu se réjouir de profiter d'une belle et grande piscine qui de plus était bien sécurisée pour les enfants en bas âge.

Même si on a l' impression que le domaine est calme et excentré, toutes les commodités se trouvent à une dizaine de minutes.

Nous recommandons sans hésitation cette location pour vos vacances et remercions encore les propriétaires pour leur accueil, leur sympathie et leur disponibilité.
