High-end, well-appointed and fully-furnished 1 bedroom condo ideal for two adults with room for young children in a private and secure setting located in a central location within 30 minutes to all that greater Phoenix has to offer.

Start your day with a morning coffee and enjoy the view of the pond and tranquil flow of the fountains right from your patio, all nestled within the well-manicured grounds. After breakfast, head a few steps over to the luxurious resort-style swimming pool area to relax, to soak-up some sun or perhaps to read a book or access the WiFi under the shade of one of the gas BBQ cabanas. For the more energetically-inclined, make your way to the fitness room where you can catch the news and get your morning workout the way you like in the well-equipped fitness room.

The condo is about 5 mins from Old Town Scottsdale/Fashion Square, Tempe Town Lake/funky Mill Avenue district and the Phoenix Sky Harbour Airport.

Stunning sunsets and vista views from notable peaks (including “hole-in-the-rock”) are a mere hike or mountain bike away in Papago Park which can be accessed right across the street. Papago Park is also home to the Papago Golf Course (LGPA Tour Stop), the Botanical Gardens, the Phoenix Zoo and a number of small lakes stocked with fish so bring your rod! Sports fans will find spring training facilities within 5 minutes and for NCAA enthusiasts, the Arizona State Sun Devils Stadium is a 5 minute drive across the Tempe Town Lake bridge in the Mill Ave District.

There really is something for everyone within a short walk or drive from the site – in fact, renting a car (while recommended), is not absolutely necessary for the adventurous. A 15 minute walk or a ride on the Valley bus route which runs right outside will get you to the Washington station of the Valley Metro Light Rail System, which runs from Mesa to Phoenix and connects to the Airport, with stops at places of interest such as sports arenas and stadiums, (including Chase Field, US Airways Center, ASU Sun Devils Stadium), shopping, parks, dining, entertainment, parks and museums.

With a car, the complex is located 2 mins from the 202 freeway which connects you to downtown Phoenix, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes and Arizona Cardinals Stadiums, as well as countless other attractions all within a 30 minute drive in any direction.

However you choose to spend your day, be sure to cap it off with an evening soak in the outdoor spa hot tub!

I have spent a lot of time in the Phoenix area and can honestly say that this resort-style condo offers some of the best amenities and is by far in one of the best locations in the area for visitors. From the California king-size bed and tranquility of the spa-like rain shower, granite counters and modern appliances to high-speed Internet and HBO on-demand, I have updated my home at the level of quality I would enjoy if I were a visitor. I love coming here and i find there is always something new every time I do. I love my home and all that Phoenix has to offer and I am sure you will too!

About Stephen Barbazuk

I had visited Arizona a few times on family road trip vacations, but it was not until I returned to the desert for a 6 week road trip one summer between university years, with my dad's truck, a good friend and our mountain bikes, when I absolutely fell in love with the desert. I was so inspired that I got a tatoo of a cactus the following year. Who knew that it would symbolize a lifestyle yet to come where I would have a place in the desert to hang my hat and be able to offer to others to experience first-hand the magic of the desert!

I'm fortunate to have flexibility in my profession which allows me to visit often for short trips. I am also an avid road cyclist and it's great to come to Phoenix to get my winter riding in and a training edge on the competition before the racing season starts!

I love this property because of the resort style amenities - the pool, spa, fitness, BBQ cabanas, beach volleyball court; I also love this property because of it's central location - almost all of the wonderful things Greater Phoenix has to offer is all within a 30 minute drive in any direction; I also chose this property because of the multitude of amenities nearby - Papago Park, the Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Spring Training, ASU Stadium, Historic Mill Ave and the Beach Park in Tempe are just a few of the amenities that really drew me to this property - and many are within trekking or cycling distance; finally I love this property because of the great people I have met who live and vacation here.

What makes this condo unique

I fell in love with this particular unit because of its location within the complex. You will see that my unit is literally steps away from all of the site amenities and the best view of the fountains and pond is right outside on my patio - I find enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the patio and listening to the sound of the flowing water fountains is an extremely calm and relaxing experience and great way to start the day!

Wonderful location + the best condo = excellent vacation!

We had a fabulous time staying at this suite. It is perfectly situated right across from a calming water feature and steps to the pool. The suite had everything we needed and then some and the community amenities were too-notch. This is great value and we will be returning!

The Condo was clean, comfortable and convenient. We wish there were more television channels available. If not for streaming from our laptop, we would have missed most of March Madness and some of our favorite cable channels . The high speed internet was a definite plus. Also the ceiling lights in the living room did not work, making the room darker than we liked. We did not leave the patio shades open as a lot of foot traffic passed by. Papago Park hikes and Zoo were easily available. A lot of shopping and many restaurants are available within 3 miles. We worked through of all of that and we will be back.

Beautiful Condo by Papago Park

We very much enjoyed Stephen's beautifully appointed condo for a 2-1/2 week stay. The grounds are nicely landscaped and well kept and the pool and hot tub were very enjoyable. We made good use of the walking trails in Papago Park right across the street. It is an easy walk to the Zoo, Botanical Gardens or Hole-in-the-Rock from this condo. The many restaurants in downtown Tempe, Arcadia and Old Town Scottsdale are close by. Freeway access is excellent with the 202 being just a couple of blocks away. Stephen was also great to work with and we hope to return here again in the future.

Great view and proximity to the pool.

Arguably one of the best locations in the Red Rox complex, given the view and proximity to the pool. Envious passersby have even asked us if we owned the condo and whether it was for sale. The condo is perfect for the two of us – not too big, not too small. It has everything you could want, including laundry facilities. The bed is very comfy. We left the window cracked at night to hear the water fountains. Very soothing.

Stephen, the owner, is a delight to work with and residents of the complex are super friendly – especially one who went out of her way to answer our questions about the area. She even offered up fresh-baked cookies one evening.

As with all multi-level buildings, you will hear the upstairs tenant at times (we nicknamed him “thumper,” to reflect his occasional pacing back and forth). The shower heads can be a bit confusing at first, but once you figure them out, they’re terrific!

Overall, 5 stars!

Perfect Rental for a couple!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Red Rox. The unit was clean, well equipped, comfortable and the whole process (arrival & departure) was really smooth. The property is beautiful and the pool is perfect. We would definitely come back!
