Friendly, Fun, Clean

We stayed as a family in the casita! It was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast every morning was awesome! Very friendly staff and the owners are quite awesome too! If you are visiting Bocas check for accommodation here, swimming is just across the road. Taxi transportation is easy, getting to and from town is never a problem. We really enjoyed our stay at Sand Dollar Beach b&b!

Why they chose this property

Bocas del Toro is surrounded by natural beauty and is an adventurer's paradise. The local people are kind, generous, fun and friendly. There are opportunities for sports: surfing, diving, snorkeling, swimming, zip lining, biking, hiking, etc. There are many fine dining options in town. Spanish language classes can happen right on our verandah.

What makes this property unique

We are located close to town, which is convenient. You can call a taxi and get to town. Or take a bike and you are there in 15 minutes. If you don't want to cook, you can have a taxi bring you dinner from one of the many restaurants in town. We have phone, free wifi, hot water and electricity. We have a UV filter for drinking water, so there is no need to buy plastic bottles. We are far enough from town to have peace and quiet, away from the crowds. The sloths and howler monkeys wander through our 3-acre property, as do all sorts of tropical birds.
