About this property

In an old stone farmhouse dating from 1887 nestled in the Chianti countryside among vineyards and olive groves, recently renovated, are three apartments: Thyme, Sage and Ramerino.
The Salvia apartment is located on the ground floor and is accessed directly from the shared garden. It consists of living/dining room, kitchen equipped with microwave oven, stove, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer, flat-screen TV and sofa bed, spacious double bedroom with private bathroom with shower. The apartment is furnished in Tuscan style with exposed beams, stone walls and terracotta floors. The apartment has a shared outdoor space with tables and chairs, deckchairs a barbecue and swimming pool. (Open from July 1 to August 30 )
You can relax and enjoy the view of the olive groves and vineyards and catch a glimpse of the towers of the medieval town of San Gimignano on the horizon in the distance, take walks or bike rides in the Tuscan countryside, use the barbecue and the large garden At guests' disposal free Wi Fi connection and a room with pool table.
The apartments are centrally located from which in about an hour you can reach the main cities of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca. The apartments are 3 km from Gambassi Terme, 10 km from Certaldo, 20 km from San Gimignano, 33 km from Volterra, 54 km from Siena and 45 km from Florence airport, the nearest airport. (The swimming pool is closed from October 1 to July 20.)

Idylle in der Toskana

Ohne Auto ist man hier falsch. Die FeWo ist schön, gut ausgestattet, aber im Sommer zu heiß. Zwar gibt es Ventilatoren, die Temperatur lässt sich damit aber nicht runterkühlen, so dass wir auch nachts über 30 C hatten

Negative Behaviour

Let me know if you want to cancel and will refund you. This was the immediate response when the rent out didn’t deliver the house in time after 14.00 hours in the afternoon. Furthermore this was the rent out response when there was a Client question of normal entrance of the house what was agreed upon. The rent out could have solved this flexible with a key box or alternative persons as in the organisational problems you had, later suddenly the rent out had emergency problems. The rent out didn't solve the question with a proper and flexible solution. Instead the rent out asked immediate for cancelation and refund. This is very aggressive and negative. Had a lot of positive VRBO and other reservations in Italy. The rent out give the client big problems when it is not possible to enter the house. This is very aggressive and negative we didn’t have with other Italian or other rent out houses. The rent out is the only negative Italian exception. We had already 12 complete positive rental houses with VRBO.

Fantastisch

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub. Wir sind herzlich willkommen worden, genauso wie unser Hund. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Nach Siena kommt man in einer Stunde, Pisa genauso und an das Meer. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Schöne Wohnung mit toller Lage!

Die Wohnung, Lage und Umgebung war super. Wir haben Tagestrips nach Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano und kleinere Städte wie Certaldo oder Colle di val d’Elsa besucht. (Im letzteren ist ein wunderschöner Wasserfall, welcher definitiv besichtigt werden sollte!). Der Pool war auch schön und die Größe ausreichend. Das Haus liegt zwischen Weinreben und man kann gut einen kleinen Abendspaziergang mit oder ohne Hund laufen. Lediglich das Bad war anders als erwartet. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist leider überhaupt nicht abgelaufen und es war kein Pömpel vor Ort. Die Spülung der Toilette konnte man nur durch Heben des Spülkastens betätigen. Alles kein Beinbruch, wir würden das Haus trotzdem definitiv weiterempfehlen und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit!
