The living room and both bedrooms have wood floors that we just had refinished. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, including a full size electric stove and oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. About Donna

I graduated from Traverse City High School as did our children. My husband attended the Maritime Academy at NMC and is a Chief Engineer who sails on a 1000 ft. freighter on the Great Lakes. I am a RN at Munson Medical Center. In the winter I like to play hockey, curl, xc-ski and snow shoe. In the summer we enjoy mushrooming, hiking, and relaxing at our cottage. My husband enjoys fishing of any kind, winter or summer.

Donna purchased this bungalow in 2014

Perfect place to stay with family for a long weekend.

  • 5 of 5

This house was well equipped with everything we needed . It was exceptionally clean. We had space in the laundry area to store our bikes as well as a locked shed. The house is in a quiet, tree lined residential neighborhood conveniently located just outside the Traverse City limits. Owner was very responsive to questions and provided local tourism information in advance as well as in organized folders in the house. Would definitely consider staying here again.

just as it read on the advertisment Clean Bungalow

Although it is a hike if you wanted to walk to downtown Traverses City. However driving is a short drive and ample parking available. While the Wifi didn't stay on long at all, for the short time we stayed it was ok. We did walk to the beach a couple times and that was just as stayed a short walk indeed. The location was easy to get to from Virginia and nice quite neighborhood friendly neighbors, and a lovely bungalow. Will come back next summer!! So much to see and do <3

we enjoyed our stay in your rental . It was perfect for us central to where we were going .the only thing I didn't like was the shower, It needs a different faucet ,one with a little control and a hand rail would be welcome. Would I come back? I sure would . I am 80years old and hope to be back next year.

Convenient location.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay, the house was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood near downtown T.C. It had all the amenaties we needed, and offered enough space for our very active (and sometimes loud) 3 yr old to be himself. :) Donna was a gracious host. She was warm and welcoming, we would recommend her bungalow to anyone wanting a home away from home while in T.C.

The Hunter family.

Traverse City is known as a top 5 foodie destination per Bon Appetite Magazine. There are many wonderful restaurants in the area known for their farm to table foods. Wine tours on both the Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsula are not to be missed. There are also many local brew pubs and distilleries in the area.

The Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes 30 miles away was voted one of the most scenic areas in the USA. Don't miss the dune climb and Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive.

Summer time includes The National Cherry Festival July 4 - 11 featuring a free air show over the bay by the USAF Thunderbirds this year. Traverse City Film Festival July 28-August 2.

Traverse Area Tart Trail is a short 3 blocks away. The bike path goes right downtown and is about a 15 minute ride and is often quicker then taking a vehicle.
