About this property

The Stable at Olde Pensipple Holiday Cottages
Self catering holiday cottage.
One of a complex of five.

Please make sure you enter the right number of adults, children and pets in order to get the correct quote.

Owners on site always willing to help if we can and just as willing to leave you in peace. Stone barn conversion set in a secluded location, 9 acres set in a green and pleasant valley. Ample parking next to the cottages. Utility room with washing machine. Cottages set around courtyard. Access to grounds for dog walking and ambling. TV and Freeview, DVD player, microwave, cooker, fridge/freezer in all of the cottages.

The Stable comprises of separate kitchen and dining/lounge. One double bedroom and futon sofa bed in the lounge. Shower and toilet room.

Dogs welcome but only one per booking and must be attended at all times. £20 extra per week.

There is a £12 laundry fee for a two person party that requires linen for the sofa bed.

If you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful with plenty to do nearby then Olde Pensipple is the place for you.

good but basic by modern standards

As the title says. a bit basic. 1 toilet roll, no cleaning materials, no basics like salt and pepper, etc. Fridge door would not close, bathroom door would not lock. Having said all the above, basically clean and a good location.

The Stable

Property was OK. Furniture, fittings and kitchen wear need updating. The roads to the property are very narrow only for one car which makes access difficult.

Great Stay

Perfect accommodation, we went during the heatwave property nice and cool due to being stone, clean a pet friendly cottage however no signs of dogs being there. Very quite in the middle of know where lanes are very tight to get to but you are in Cornwall in the country side once you get used to it no problems. Will go again and recommend.

Hidden retreat

To reach property you drive along single track lanes which is not easy when you meet another vehicle, particularly in dark! Also none of the outside lights in the courtyard were working. Property is bit old fashioned inside and we were surprised not have an electric kettle. Luckily we had super weather which helped a great deal.
