Tennis Club 4762: 2 BR / 2 BA villa in Kiawah Island, Sleeps 6
average rating of 4.0 based on 7 reviews

Everything is very nice and as advertised. I would give it 5*; however, will stick with 4 because living area/kitchen/dining are small. It works for 4 adults and two teens which is what we had. One thing that was exceptional was the TV/Soundbar/Wifi. It was great for our teens to play music in the evening, really nice sound quality. We enjoyed some good country music with our evening beverages. One thing to note is there are stairs to get up that make carrying an ice chest or heavy luggage a bit tough. There was a gator we named Tony that laid on the bank in the evening, very entertaining. I would rent again.

Cute and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Loved the location of this villa. It's a 8 minute walk to the beach (there's a clear path over), or a 5 minute bike ride. It's also not too far into the island that we could bike over to Freshfields and carry back necessities. The lights are a little low in the master bath, but the condo was clean, wifi worked well, and beds were comfortable. Would recommend!

Owner's Response: Biking into Freshfields Village for a cup of coffee and some supplies is a guest favorite, and a great way for families to spend time together. We will investigate the master bath lighting- thanks for your positive feedback- hope to see you again soon!

Beautiful resort close enough to everything!

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful resort with access to different experiences including the beach & the city which is less than an hour away. Easy check in. We were in Charleston for a concert & the resort offered a totally different experience within a reasonable distance. Lack of wi-fi made planning activities a little more difficult, but it was not enough of an issue to impact our trip overall. The patio was our favorite spot between our sightseeing jaunts. Kiawah island was a very pleasant experience! We truly look forward to visiting again!

Cute but dated condo

  • 2 of 5

Great value but further from the beach than we usually liked. We didn't have many choices since it was Labor Day weekend, so we took a chance on this condo. Wyndham was great to work with and communicated timely information to us. This condo is very cute and fairly updated but is still in need of some TLC in terms of paint and updated bedroom items. The master bath lights are horribly low as are the ceilings. Kiawah is beautiful but might be too far from charleston for many.

Lovely porch and view!

  • 4 of 5

In mid June we stayed at a 2 bedroom Tennis Club Villa. It is a well-equipped unit and it was very quiet when we were there. The distance to the beach is approximately 10 minutes, but it is a lovely walk with two foot bridges. Many individuals were stopping to take photos. The best part of the villa is the porch. It has an awesome view of backwater. We ate, played cards and sat and talked on the porch after a swim at the ocean. The down side of the villa is that the tennis prices are outrageous. We have played on many lovely resort courts in the surrounding area and although we brought all of our tennis clothing, racquets, etc. we decided not to play. Even with the activity card, the tennis is expensive. Sad that you are staying in a Tennis Club Villa, but that you do not play. The courts looked adequate and the facility was ok, but not worth the money.
