Picture yourself enjoying a lovely glass of Chilean wine on the balcony overlooking beautiful Cerro San Cristobal/Parque Metropolitano in the distance. The view is splendid. The bottle of wine is complimentary. Welcome to El Campanario.

El Campanario is a beautiful, comfortable and well equipped 11th floor corner apartment located on tree-lined Avenida Condell in central Providencia. The neighborhood is safe and upscale. It features air conditioning, WIFI, cable TV and a telephone for local calls. There is a lovely outdoor pool (seasonal) in a garden setting and a fitness room on the main floor. Parking is available at an additional charge.

There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms are equipped with safety bars. One bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a queen size bed, two night tables and lamps, a flat screen TV and a closet. There is a safe in the closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, a night table and lamp and a closet. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably.

The living room includes a chair and sofa, coffee tables, a dining room table (seats 6) and chairs, a side table, a lamp, a TV and a sound system.

All rooms access a large furnished balcony with a spectacular view of the city, the Cordillera de Los Andes and Cerro San Cristobal/Parque Metropolitano.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, electric stove and oven and small appliances. En suite washer and dryer are also available.

It is ideally located in Providencia (Barrio Italia) - a short walk to the Bustamente subway station and the Salvador subway station and close to downtown. It is within walking distance to two supermarkets (Lider Express and Tottus) and a bakery (Panadaria Italia). There is a good selection of restaurants nearby. It is within walking distance to trendy Avenida Italia with restaurants and shops.

It is a 20 minute drive from the airport. Easy access to fabulous Barrio Lastarria, Patio Bella Vista , Barrio Italia and Cerro San Cristobal and the teleferico with its amazing view of the city.

Great apartment with the view!

Apartment was clean, well maintained and had all the essentials items (to cook and more than enough linens to go around) you would need for a week stay. The best part of the apartment for us was the patio, we spent most, if not all our time there, although it can be weather dependent, we were there first week of April. Host Felix helpful, thoughtful, and forthcoming. All his recommendation of places to eat was on point! The apartment was marketed as with AC, but really the is only the primary bedroom has a split unit AC. However Felix was very quick to attend to our concern and send us another fan for the second bedroom. In early part of April, it was not hot and we slept well. Thanks again Felix for hosting us and provided us a 'home' away from home.

Perfect Place

Nothing to complain about here. Lots of quick accurate and information communication before, during, and as I departed. Everything matched. Security downstairs friendly and knowledgeable of who we were. Balcony is the utmost setting. Great views of Sky Costanera, Movistar building and the Virgin Mary on top of the Cerro San Cristobal. Good air circulation in the cool temps of spring. So many restaurants to walk to. You hear the sounds of the big city but I use white noise when I sleep and never heard it. My friend does not and heard it at times but said it didn't bother him. I don't often return to places since there is so much new to see, but there is no doubt if I return to Santiago it'll be during a time when this unit is free to rent!

Our Favorite Apartment in Santiago!

During our month long stay in Santiago, we tried 4 different apartments, in 4 different neighborhoods to get a true feeling for the city and its people. Felix´s home was our favorite. The unit itself is modern, comfortable, clean, well equipped. The view is stunning from all rooms. The terrace is large and is truly a space that you want to enjoy. But what we came to appreciate the most was the Barrio Italia neighborhood. We had the opportunity to be part of the community for a short time. It is centrally located yet still quiet and safe. We bought fresh bread every day from the nuns at the church next door, we ate at outstanding restaurants just a few steps away, the Tottus supermarket, bottle shop, mini market were around the corner. The concierges at the building were friendly, helpful and happy for us to be there. Metro stops on green and red lines were only 10 min away. We would have been happy to stay for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend this home & location!
