The perfect Lyon headquarters

We had a delightful time in this well-situated apartment. It was easy to walk to everything, the kitchen made it easy to cook some of the great food from the farmers' market right across the street, and Odile was a very gracious and helpful hostess.

La proprietaire et l'appartement sont tres charmant!

The apartment is on the top floor of a secure building facing Place Carnot in the Presqu’ile district of Lyon, so is actually more central to shopping, transport and museums than the Old Town on the western bank of the Saone. The apt is a very clever renovation of attic space, the second bedroom being a glassed-in mezzanine that preserves the ancient oak beams supporting the roof. The place is very well equipped and the friendly welcome and orientation information provided by Odile, the owner, were outstanding. Would certainly try to stay there again if we were going to Lyon.

Excellent location

This apartment has 3 things that greatly contribute to the comfort of one's summertime European vacation: convenient location, air conditioning, and a (granted tiny) lift. No complaints about our gracious hosts, and the proximity to Perrarche train station, the 10m walk from Place Bellecour, and 15m walk from Vieux Lyon all made this place an excellent choice.

Great apartment in Presqu'île

This is a wonderful apartment located on a pleasant square >> just across from Perrache train station, with a great market on Wednesdays and Sundays, centrally located on the Presqu'île within walking distance to many sites and with easy metro access, too.

The owners put a great deal of thought into arranging and furnishing the apartment. It is very comfortable, has everything you need, and is really quiet so you can get a great night's sleep. The owners live on the floor below, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Thanks to the warm welcome and great accommodations, we had a thoroughly enjoyable two weeks exploring Lyon.
