The house vacations Star on the Sea is born as old ruin subsequently restructured. And 'situated next to the sea of the Staircase of the Turks and also in proximity of the Valley of the Temples, both attainable ones in 10 minutes. Besides it is well connected with the principal roads that conduct to the Center of the city of Agrigento and the near Communes. And 'absorbed in the green and surrounded by ample spaces, included therein the parking lot, therefore he / she offers the possibility to spend pleasant days in absolute relaxation.
The house is located in Contrada Maddalusa (Agrigento), via Anna Dickinson 1.
Maddalusa is situated between Agrigento and Porto Empedocle (on Highway 115).
It is best to rent a car at the airport where you can get yourself to move in places that are hard to reach by public transport.

Agrigento base

The owners were super helpful and extremely nice and made us feel at home. The property is molto bello. The only complaint the heat was on for only 1 hour twice a day. The heat could have been on a little bit longer, otherwise the stay was great

Agripina et son mari sont 2 personnes très sympathiques. L'accueil qu'ils nous ont réservé n'a d'égal que la générosité et la convivialité qu'ils nous ont temoigné durant notre séjour. La maison est super et l'extérieur tout aussi charmant. Nous recommandons sans retenue cet location.

Fabulous!

What a lovely introduction to Sicily! The property was beautiful and the hosts were so gracious. Agrippina greeted us with pastries and left plenty of refreshments for us during our short stay. The property sits high allowing a panoramic view of the area as well as the Mediterrean Sea! The sunsets were breathtaking! The kitchen is fully equipped and most inviting should you feel inspired to enjoy cooking what is grown locally. The house is centrally located making it a short drive to Valley of the Temples, Agrigento and thereis shoppingand a vegetable and fruit stand as well as a long sandy beach close by. Our only regret we had was that were not there longer!

Very hospitable

The house is very well situated for visiting the Valley of the Temples. It was very nicely presented inside and out and was equipped with everything that you could think of -plus some!! There are two proper bedrooms - the third single ‘room’ is in a lobby that is off one of the bedrooms and bathroom. This may suit a child but maybe not an adult expecting privacy. The garden is beautiful. Agrippina and her husband were delightful hosts and brought us gifts of local delicacies. They don’t speak English but my bad Italian plus Google translate worked wonders. We had a lovely time.

Stella sul Mare is the definition of "a home away from home." The house is beautiful, spacious, and filled with everything needed for a long or short stay. The surrounding gardens, with olive, almond, and lemon trees is tranquil and beautiful to look at. It is a few minutes walk to a perfect, protected beach, six minutes to the Valley of the Temples, and ten minutes to the restaurants of old town Agrigento. Overall, this is an amazing place to stay!
