A sweet cabin, plenty of space for a couple to have a great base in the far west
About Seb Blakemore
Seb has been lucky enough to have lived in West Cornwall for the past 7 years. After coming down for an extended break he fell in love with this beautiful area and never left! Based in St Just, Seb took on an old wreck and worked to create a comfortable home. This is now also the headquarters for The Cornish Way who look after luxury cottages for a select group of owners and their lucky guests. The aim of The Cornish Way is to provide holidays that fill you with joy - and the bespoke selection of cottages Seb offers are sure to deliver.
Why Seb Blakemore chose Saint Just
Lillie' Lookout was built for the previous owners' granddaughter to live in for a year on a trip home from Australia. It's a great location at the end of their vast garden and has it's own little garden and a lookout bank too. We were happy to manage the cabin for the lovely owners as we liked it so much we ended up wanting to stay there ourselves.
What makes this Cabin unique
Perfect size, great location, views, own garden, you can walk everywhere if you have the energy, but the car will help you explore further afield if that's what you want.

Wonderful cosy lodge with a beautiful view, the perfect retreat!
We had a wonderful stay at Lillie's Lookout. Even storm Gareth and Hannah didn't spoil our stay! The lodge is beautifully thought out, warm & cosy with all the creature comforts. Great pubs just a short walk away but the well equipped kitchen made cooking an ease.
We would definitely return.. preferably in warmer months to enjoy the outside terrace with a g&t and some fresh local fish on the bbq!
So pleased you enjoyed your stay and do come back and visit us again!
Lovely place to stay were made to feel very welcome
We thoroughly enjoyed our self the cabin was lovely, just as described very warm and cosy a perfect rural retreat
It’s perfect, I just loved everything about it, it’s comfy, cosy & has amazing views.
I had a lovely time, really relaxing, visited The Jackson Foundation & Morvah Schoolhouse , met up with a friend every day & walked the dogs in such wonderful scenery, just what I needed.
So pleased you enjoyed it Deborah and hope you come back and visit again soon!
Everything you can think of !
What a warm and beautifully kept place to stay. Snug on even the windiest of nights ... Everything has been thought of, unlike most holiday rentals everything is just right and has been thought of I could not think of one thing I could not find: extension lead, torch, a battery and a great stocked kitchen with every utensil you could wish for!
Lillie's is a lovely find and so is the Queen's Arms which is really only 10 minutes walk away (all flat) down a quiet lane. We had some lovely days walking and then calling in for a couple of essential pints of John's well kept ale and a chat in front of the fire.
If Lillie's was not four and a half hours drive away from us I would be block booking it!
Lastly thanks Seb for keeping us so informed and thank you for the flowers and shortbread.
Ahh thanks Kym
So pleased you had a great break!
All the best
Fantastic. Beautiful cabin, everything just perfect. Location was awsome. Host's were lovely.
Wow, what a fabulous little gem "lillies lookout". Far reaching and beautiful views of the country side and sea. Beautiful little cabin to stay in. Comfortable, fresh and cosy. Just loved this place and would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Cornwall. Lovely little village and the locals were welcoming. Particularly enjoyed the Star Pub over the festive season. John and Di are lovely people who supplied some lovely touches to the cabin on our arrival, flowers, port, mince pies and clotted cream. Very appreciated. Now travelling back home feeling relaxed and de-stressed after a wonderful 6 days away. Really didn't want to leave, but as the saying goes, "all good things must come to an end". Thank you John and Di for sharing your little gem with us. We would love to come back.
Amazing location. Amazing cabin. Amazing weekend 😍
We're on the edge at the far west of Cornwall. The attraction is the natural beauty of the area, a UNESCO listed World Heritage site, and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We do not have big city facilities, but we believe we live a better life for that very reason.
We look forward to welcoming you to our quirky version of paradise.
