Main level has new wood-look tile flooring & freshly painted ceilings & walls throughout. A living room overlooking the screened porch and view of lake, DirecTV, DVD Blu Ray player, & leather sectional with foot stool and the new large area rug adds a splash of color. Full bathroom with shower/tub combo. 2 large bedrooms on main level with King beds, dressers and a large walk-in closet between. Also, another living room area with couches, coffee table, pub glass table with chairs and a bar. Down the hallway is a laundry room, small newly remodeled (2016) bathroom & a queen bedroom with closet. About Randy Maib & Laurie Maib-Maberry
My brother, Randy, and I were fortunate enough to purchase this home from the original owners the summer of 2014. Their family made many great memories in this home for 40 years. Our families have enjoyed it so much and wanted to share the experience with others. Randy has worked for Baptist Integris in OKC since 1999. He has two children in high school. His wife has lived in the Eufaula area for many years. I taught Elem. Ed. for 13 years in El Reno. My husband, Craig, works in the oil and gas industry. We have 2 adult children living on their own and a teen at home. My brother and I co-own our dads convenient store, farm and rental properties since he passed away in 2008.

Why Randy Maib & Laurie Maib-Maberry chose Texanna
Our dad owning rental properties and our mom taking us to the lake almost every summer weekend inspired us to buy this property. Our mother and step dad enjoy kayaking and camping and visit the lake house, as do my in laws. Our children love having friends here as well. We thought it would be a great way to make memories and keep the family close. We have friends that live across the cove and that's how we found this area. We fell in love with this unique, charming, comfortable "get away". We hope you do too. Welcome to our home on the lake.
What makes this House unique
The gray rock home, nestled low on the hill surrounded by trees, overlooking the glistening water is bound to catch your eye. The floor to ceiling wall of windows is definitely a focal point of the main floor living space and kitchen. The gray rock is carried over into the house through the entry way floor, the chimney creating a rock wall from ceiling to bottom floor, and flooring on the stair landings as well as rock planters and stairs on back porch leading down to the lake. The large cypress trees lining the waters edge give plenty of shade to the screened porch that runs along the entire back of the house, overlooking the water. It's so peaceful being back in the cove. This particular cove is full of underwater trees and fish love it. So do fishermen.
We have rented lake houses for about 20 years and this one is definitely at the top of the list! Loved the screened in balcony. This place was extremely clean. The kitchen was roomy enough for several people to work at the same time. I appreciated the paved way to the dock.
Thank you for the wonderful review. I'll be sure and let the housekeeper know you were pleased. She works hard to get it ready for our guests. The kitchen has a nice layout and roomy, we enjoy cooking together and that space is great. We are so glad you all had a nice time making new memories.
Property was older but fit the atmosphere good.
Love the screened in porch. Had a lot of fun . Boat dock was close and convenient.
We went with our 3 kids ages 7, 2, and 5months with another couple who have a 5yr old and 2 year old. We had the best time! First of all the house is beautiful and there is so much room! The kids loved having their own area downstairs & we loved it too. The home was very clean & had everything we needed for meals. Plus a good game & DVD stash. The dock was nice for fishing off of, we didn't do much swimming there but took advantage of Jellystone park being only 20 min. Away and that place was AMAZING! We cant wait to go back.
What a wonderful review. We love Jellystone too. So much fun for the family and a quick drive to Eufaula. We do hope you'll be back soon.
Property is in a great location we loved the convenience of having a fishing dock.
We enjoyed our stay as did all of our children.
Very relaxing, serene, and accommodating! Loved being on the water!
Upon arrival we only had 1 issue but the owners responded quickly and took care of it. The house is right on the water so we could walk to the water and fish off the boat dock. We caught several crappie. Having a slip available on the private dock was awesome as we could come and go in the boat as we wanted. The screened in porch was awesome as we could bird and squirrel watch. The kitchen has most all things you need for cooking and preparing food. Thanks so much for opening your house to us. Our family enjoyed our time there and hope to return again!!
So glad you all had a nice time. Thank you for the detailed review. That screened porch is our favorite. We do hope you'll be back soon.
Lots of room
Awesome dock big house !unless you have Verizon no cell service or wi fi , nice friendly neighborhood, driveway and neighborhood boat ramp are very slippery due to gravel on concrete conditions, screened porch was great , most things out side had a thick layer of dust kinda abandoned looking, all in all great place
Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We've had AT&T for years but recently switched to Verizon. We've been able to use our phones and check our email, etc. while there. Verizon and US Cellular seem to work best around the lake. Sorry it was an issue for you. We have a cell phone booster to help.
Our property is located a short drive south of I 40 on highway 69 and east on Texanna Rd. in Beaver Lodge cove which is a safe, secluded area with less than 20 homes. There is a short distance of dirt/rock road leading to the home. We have owned this house for over 2 years, purchased from the original owners. It is fully furnished and can sleep 15 people comfortably. The main floor has 2 large bedrooms with King beds and a walk-in closet between; full bathroom with new paint; kitchen/dining and living room with large rock fireplace. One of the bedrooms and the living room have doors leading out to the large screened porch to enjoy the wildlife and views without the annoying bugs biting. It's one of our favorite places to enjoy the view, visiting, playing games, drinks and reading. Kitchen has all supplies - glasses, plates, silverware, pots and pans, utensils, Kuerig and regular coffee maker (please bring your own coffee), and a knife set. Dishwasher, fridge/freezer, convectional microwave, glass top stove/oven. The floor to ceiling wall of windows is breathtaking. The entire upstairs has new wood-look tile floors throughout and freshly painted ceilings and walls. Central heat and air. DirecTV is on the upstairs TV. The wall of windows provide great views as you walk downstairs where you'll find a second living room area with a large bar. Down the hall way is a laundry room, small newly remodeled (2016) bathroom and a queen bedroom. There is a large bunk room that contains 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, and a bunk bed with full & twin beds and a small dresser. This room has a door going out to the back porch where the gas grill, charcoal grill, table/chairs, and fire pit are located. Boat dock is shared by neighbors, please be courteous & keep it clean. Area to left of dock is good for fishing with sunken brush piles, trees and lots of Cypress knees (roots). Area to right of dock is better for swimming because it has sand and NO Cypress knees. Get minnows at the local gas station or bait shop on Texanna Road. The boat ramp in the neighborhood is for homeowners only, it's narrow and shallow any way. We usually launch at Indian Springs, Belle Star or Dutchess Landing near by. Take advantage of what Lake Eufaula has to offer by catching fish off the dock, shore, or from your own boat, enjoying the beautiful sand beaches & water sports, and hiking the many surrounding acres. Being located on the cleanest part of the lake in one of the very best fishing coves makes this a highly sought after area. Gas stations, flee market shopping, restaurants, bait/tackle shop, ice and groceries are a quick 10 minute drive west on Texanna Rd. Eufuala (69 S) is a 20 minute drive where you'll find fast food (Braum's), restaurants, groceries, bank/ATM, liquor store, antiques and boutique shops, and Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park which offers miniature golf, pool, paddle boats and boards, sandy beach, water slide and inflatable's on the water. Checotah (69 N) is a short 25 minute drive where you'll find a Walmart, McDonald's with WiFi, shopping, terrific restaurants, churches, and bowling. The many local attractions are sure to suit all ages and interests. Two nearby golf courses will test your skills, try your luck by visiting the nearby casino's. Bring your ATV's and explore the off road sand dune area located at the dam! Another option for outdoor activities would be a day trip to Robber's Cave.
