Beautifully decorated Non-Smoking unit one bedroom, one bath condo overlooking the 6th-Hole of the beautifully manicured golf course AND the canal which leads into Destin Harbor. The unit overlooks the canal where you can dock your boat.

Completely remodeled in 2014 with NEW paint, NEW floors, NEW appliances and NEW upscale furniture, NEW art work, NEW flat screen TVs, WIFI, washer/dryer unit. Fully furnished kitchen, living room/dining area with balcony, one bedroom with a queen size bed, and a bathroom with dressing area. Living room has pull outs in couch and two over-sized chairs.

Sandpiper Cove is a 43 acre gated resort that has just about everything you could want in a resort destination. Enjoy the FREE 9-hole par-3 golf course, 5 pools, the hot tubs, the tennis courts, shuffle-board, beach, beach-side snack bar, 24-Hour Security - all included with your rental.

The condo is within walking distance to the beach. The beach is private for Sandpiper Cove guests, and includes a pavilion that serves food and drinks. Home of the famous Louisiana Lagniappe Restaurant that is located right on property.

Destin Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay! Sandpiper cove is our favorite place to stay and this unit is now my favorite one! The poctures are very accurate! The decor is great and gives you that beach vibe when your inside. The unit was clean and had most of what we needed! I really had no need to check in with the owners because everything was smooth at checkin and there were no issues when we went in, no problem with the air unit or anything like that. So, we went on about our vacation. I didn't check my email for a couple 3 days and noticed one asking if we made it OK bc the vrbo site was not working for them and she was just checking in to make sure if thing was fine. I let her know it was good and asked a couple question about check out and she responded quickly. I would absolutely stay here again. We had had our first poor experience with renting through VRBO. We had a different unit (with different owners) we had booked way in advance. It was a 2 bedroom with hall bunks. We have 2 kids. 4.5 weeks before vacation they messaged us they were selling the unit and would not be honoring their rentals. It gave us 4 days to cancel it or they would keep our money (which was 16 days short of when orginally the paperwork said anyone could cancel). Then we were left with trying to find a place and we're struggling. In fact, there were no 2 bedrooms left that was still in our price range. So, we went with 1 bedroom. It was totally fine. We were able to make it where we left one chair and the couchad out all week (bc I wanted to be on vacation too lol) but still be able to access the back deck fine. We basically only used the condo to sleep and eat but one night we all watched a movie. I laid on the couch bed with my son, daughter could see from her bed, and the hubs took the chair. I would hesitate to do the same set up again! The only thing really I can suggest for them to make it any better is mainly if they could put some cheap putters and golf balls in the closet and a few cheap tennis rackets and balls. This is the first time we didn't have those items and so out of 5 years staying at Sandpiper it's the only time we didn't utilize the golf course and tennis courts, but the weather was so great we stayed plenty busy and the kids didn't even feel like we had time enough in the pools as it was this time.

Awesome place!

This place can not be described in words. We really enjoyed every aspect of it. Having the canal only feet away, the golf course only feet away, and the beach a short distance. Every thing is there! You can’t go wrong with this place! It was clean, cozy and beautiful.

Great location and family friendly complex!

This was our second stay at Sandpiper Cove and our first at this unit. We love the amenities that Sandpiper Cove offers. Fishing, biking, tennis, golf, beaches, pools, and so much more. The complex is family friendly and we always feel very secure there thanks to the guards at the front. This condo has been beautifully updated and was vey cozy. We slept comfortably on the pull out chairs and couch. We had everything we needed to cook with including a crock pot. The washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. The walk to the beach was a little far, however we opted to ride our bikes so it made the trek enjoyable. My only setback would be the neighbors downstairs as this is a second floor unit. I am pretty sure they live there full time. They came and complained about the noise one night from my children who were just walking around in the condo as they were not being excessively loud. After that I felt that I had to repeatedly remind my children to walk softly in the condo which was somewhat aggravating for me to be constantly nagging them for just being excited children. If you have small children, you may want to be aware that the neighbors will complain. The owners of the condo were very responsive to my messages, and overall the stay was great. We will be back to Sandpiper Cove next year!
