Wonderful time. Very relaxing location good. Will definitely recommend
We loved the stay at this villa. Bed were comfy, slept like a baby. Couches needed a little attention but still ok. Came for Cruisin the Coast so we really like the double garage.
Property needs better maintenance
The property was not as well maintained as others we have stayed in. The oven did not work well. The plywood used in place of springs was disconcerting. The mattress in the bedroom in which my husband and I slept made strange bonging noises whenever we got up. But the condo was clean and nicely located.
Beach and beds are meh, fun if you make plans not at the beach
Biloxi was below par as far as beaches go but we stayed busy with other activities such as the Marine and wildlife preservation and bowling. As far as this property, it was ok. The bed were extremely uncomfortable and sheets and towels were dingy and in dire need of replacement. I recommend to the owner that he remove the crt tv in the one bedroom up on the dresser. It's a safety hazard for children pulling it on top of themselves. As an EMT, I've been to a call where the child died as a result to this. Mount it to a wall or get rid of it. We put it in the closet during our stay.
As a whole this rental was nice enough but I wouldn't go back to Biloxi since we went there for the beach.
The Good, the Bad, the Ugly
The Good: This property is a short walk to the beach. The layout of the condo was fantastic for our family trip, and there were enough kitchen utensils to get by without a Walmart run to buy cookie sheets etc. The community pool is AMAZING for kids and there is a much quieter pool at the front of the property as well.
While the driveway to the property is technically waterfront, this property does not have an ocean view. There is a tall condo complex between the property and the ocean. Once you walk down the driveway, you have to walk another block east to get to a crosswalk to cross a very busy highway. The crosswalks are not handicap friendly making your beach wagon a huge pain to transfer. There are no sidewalks, so hold tight to kiddie hands.
The property was bare minimum cleaned, not disgusting, but not great. The jacuzzi tub turned the water dark brown when it was turned on. The oven was so dirty that it smelled like something was burning when we cooked. The area above the TV was very very dusty.
The furnishings of this unit are old and in poor condition. Every chair and sofa has plywood under the cushions because the springs are busted. They are reasonably comfortable to sit on, but watch your knees on the protruding wood. The TVs in the bedrooms are older than my children although they do work.
The mattresses urgently need to be replaced. If you are expecting restful sleep as a part of your vacation, this is not the unit for you. My husband (who does not have back problems) was in so much pain after 2 nights that he had to go to a chiropractor. Every small movement results in a symphony of sproing sounds as the springs beg for retirement, and no matter where you lay, there is a valley waiting to suck you in. I slept on the floor one night and was about as comfortable with less noise.
The appliances all have significant issues: the ice maker is broken, the oven smells like natural gas whenever it is turned on, and the dishwasher door hits the floor rolling dishes all over the kitchen unless you support it yourself. (I highly recommend a 12 pack of soda as a support). The washer motor sounds like it is about to die, and the dryer took 3 cycles to dry even a small load of children's clothing, more for towels. Be aware if you have sensitivities that guests are asked to wash the unit's towels before leaving. No laundry soap is provided, so quality, scents, etc are up to the guest (or if soap is even used?)
Stayed at this Villa in June 2019. We had the best time. The Villa was so very nice. Thank you.
