This one-bedroom apartment is a ground floor, garden facing apartment in a renovated 200-year-old building. An inviting lounge seat allows you to sit outside and view the sun set over the Jungfrau and the Schynige Platte. Centrally located, the house has a bus stop right at the front door, connecting your apartment to both train stations. A forest across the road offers quiet greenery within walking distance. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Free parking spaces are available on the property.

The Apartment Dependance Ost has everything you could wish for. Comfortable seating and a well-equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine in a bright and modern ambience. You’ll have a flat screen TV with Satellite and free WIFI. The bathroom has a walk-in rainwater shower. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedroom is airy and offers a queen-size bed. Underfloor heating throughout the apartment makes for a lovely atmosphere.

For those moments when you would like to relax, we offer a shared spa area which can be reserved for private use. This includes a whirlpool, sauna/infrared cabin. There’s a communal area with a pool table and some books. And just in case you still have some energy to burn, there’s a fitness room.

Home away from Home

What a great place to use as a base for our 4 nights in Interlaken. It was just like a home away from home. Our hosts were amazing and offered great advice on what to do in and around Interlaken even on the wettest day ever! The accommodation itself was modern, very clean and very comfortable. Our view each morning out to the mountains was just spectacular.

Amazing Stay

We can't say enough good things about the property or the hosts. The apartment was incredibly well stocked with any ammenity we might need, including a washer and dryer, and was very comfortable - they thought of everything! The location was ideal; walking distance (within 5 minutes) of a grocery store and very easy to get to either train station as well as multiple bus stops. There was a lovely restaurant at the end of the street as well. The view of mountains from the apartment was breathtaking. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in Interlaken!

Fantastic!

We enjoyed our stay at this rental! As it was our first time in Switzerland we wanted a central, easily accessible location so chose Interlaken. We came during peak season so the area was busy with tourists. The apartment is away from the central part of Interlaken in a quieter, residental neighborhood. 10-15 minute walk to the train station and the bus stop is also in front of the building which was so convenient! The pre-checkin process was smooth as the host provided a link to a very detailed, user friendly website with clear instructions, directions, etc. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by Patrick as the owners were away at that time. He walked us through the home, amenities and provided a quick tutorial of the appliances. The rental itself was spacious and meticulously maintained - spotless! It's in a 200 year old building with all units remodelled and modern. This unit is on the first floor with some patio furniture outside near the owners' garden. We loved everything about the rental with its combination of charm, character and modern touches. Plus so many conveniences and amnenities! There is also a hot tub and sauna next-door for private booking. We met the owners on our 2nd day who were friendly and helpful with providing local tips for us. When we had questions they were very responsive. We enjoyed our time exploring, hiking, seeing the beauty of the alps and loved having this rental as our home base. Highly recommended!

Excellent highly-finished apartment in central Interlaken

A clean, well-equipped property in central Interlaken. Free parking available on site. Bus stop just outside the apartment. Hassle-free check-in process. I would highly recommend this property.

Apart from our unusual names, we are bound by a love of this area and the outdoors. We met in Interlaken in 2004.
About D: A true Irishman although I have been in this area for over fifteen years. My love of snow brought me here, but with time I have come to appreciate the summers more and more. I am a qualified rafting and canyoning guide and worked mostly in rope access before setting up our business providing quality holiday homes to our international visitors.
About Kashi: My passport is Belgian and although I was born there, I have spent most of my life abroad. My parents instilled me with an unquenchable lust for travel and adventure. Since growing up in Nepal, I have lived and worked in the outdoors in Spain, Mexico, Nepal, Italy and Austria but decided to settle in this beautiful area. The last six years I have been employed as a photographer, hiking and snowshoeing guide, ski instructor, tour guide and event planner. Currently I am mostly a mom, the toughest and most rewarding job ever!
About Keanu: Born in Interlaken in 2008, I am a Swiss-born Belgian Paddy. I share my parents' love for water and I really like the Octonauts, diggers and my wolf Igor. I go crazy for cheddar cheese, and love to talk on skype.
About Kiran: Born in April 2010, I am the latest addition to the family. I'm a happy kid, I refuse to acknowledge that I'm the youngest and I love all animals.

Five minutes walk from the center of Interlaken, the property is also on direct bus lines to Interlaken West, Interlaken Ost, and Wilderswil train stations. This leads you directly into the heart of the Jungfrau region where you can enjoy the magical valleys of Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald, and also the turquoise glacial lakes of Thun and Brienz.
2 minutes drive from the highway connecting to Luzern and Bern it is great if you wish to visit more distant Swiss attractions.
For those seeking a thrill we are well connected with all the activities in what is considered the adventure capital of Europe.
And if you would prefer a quiet stroll then is the beautiful 'kleine Rugen' just outside the apartment which boasts some fantastic walks for all levels and an open grill area so you can enjoy some fantastic time outside with the family.

This apartment is a little jewel. From each of the windows you have a great view. Beside the 'Kleine Rugen' you have a wide variety of short walks to long hikes starting right outside the door. At the same time you are 5 minutes walk from the center of Interlaken and all it has to offer.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in each apartment. The bathroom is designed for the convenience of visitors from all of the world.
