Beautiful as described

  • 5 of 5

First... the house is so comfortable and clean! The beds were newer with lovely sheets and comforters. Each room was private and well appointed. The spa-like bathroom in the master suite was beautiful, high end and seemed so new. Every room in the house is tastefully decorated, yet comfortable and easy to relax in. The modern and high end kitchen is perfectly located away from the bedrooms. There is a convenient, small half bath for use on the main floor. We went to Newport four out of the eight days we stayed and the drive was easy and not more than 25 minutes. The Four Corners is just down the road with lots of quaint shops for food, clothes, artisan works and antiques. The small, fresh fish shack right on the main road was reasonable and delicious. The beach in Westport was clean and spacious and our stroll around Little Compton was a history lesson while walking the town square graveyard. It was a vacation my family will remember fondly for years to come. Thank you for the use of your beautiful home. Carole

Most comfortable and accommodating!!

  • 5 of 5

We had 7 adults and one 3 year old and stayed for 6 days. This house has all the comforts and amenities of the 21st century within the charm of a 20th century farmhouse. The kitchen was spacious and modern, the dining room was generous sized, it had two living rooms ( one more formal than the other) and we used them both and the best thing was that there was a child's play room right off the living room so that our little one could play while we talked and kept an eye on him. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms elegant and fully upgraded. We definitely recommend this lovely home.

Beautiful home well-situated to explore

  • 5 of 5

Immaculate home, impeccably designed and maintained. Beautiful kitchen equipped with the basics, child-proofed (which can be a positive or a slight bother). Bedrooms are beautiful, all three of them, with luxurious linens and towels and two beautiful bathrooms upstairs. Powder room down. Laundry machines are great, and are conveniently located upstairs. Out back there are some adirondack chairs, chaise lounges and picnic tables. The only negative is that the house is located on a main road; during the day, road noise and bugs make the yard less inviting. At night, traffic quiets down, and we spent three wonderful evenings gathered around the fire pit enjoying the stars. The house is a mile and a half from the quaint Four Corners area, and convenient to some fantastic restaurants (try the Red Dory!). The countryside is perfect for bicycling, mostly flat but with enough gentle hills to get your heart rate up if you like pushing it. Beaches, kayaking, and hiking are all close by.

Perfect Vacation Rental in a Quaint Town!

  • 5 of 5

This recently renovated farmhouse provides the best of both worlds - the quality craftsmanship and charm of a bygone era combined with top notch contemporary decor and high end finishes and appliances! The photos accurately reflect the beauty of the home. The owners tasteful renovation is stylish yet very comfortable, and they have spared no expense creating a beautiful vacation home. All appliances are high end as are the finishes used throughout the home, particularly in the lovely master bath and well-designed kitchen. The kitchen layout allows multiple people to prep food at the same time, or just hang out at the island on the handy bar stools. Wifi worked very well. The home is SUPER CLEAN, perhaps the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. The beds were super comfy and everyone slept very well. Tiverton is one of our favorite locations in RI - a quaint and quieter getaway with easy access to both the Newport area and Providence. The home is child proofed so provides a great rental for those with young children. Coastal Roasters is just down the road and a good spot to pick up some morning coffee and a breakfast treat. Also nearby is Tiverton Four Corners with Provender Fine Foods for tasty sandwiches, Gray's for delicious ice cream, and the wide selection of cheeses at Milk & Honey Bazaar. The owners respond quickly to all communication. We'd definitely return!

This home should be on HGTV!!

  • 5 of 5

Wow, we stayed here last weekend and we were all blown away with the superior quality of everything in this house. The modern and brand new finishes in this home remind me what you see on a full house renovation on HGTV! The owners paid attention to every last interior detail of this house, and you can tell that they put a lot of care into every piece of furniture and decor throughout the entire home. While everything was new and recently renovated, they did an excellent job preserving the old world New England charm of this farmhouse built in the late 1800s. We traveled with our 17 month old and this place was childproofed better than any home with small children that I have ever seen, with gates separating every area on both floors and child proof locks on every drawer in the kitchen. And oh boy, what a kitchen! From the brand new stainless steel appliances with a gas range and huge fridge, to the dual sinks and granite counter tops, this is truly a chef's kitchen and we certainly took advantage by cooking some fantastic family meals. Keeping with the family-centric theme of this house, there are two outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas and even a cute miniature children's picnic table as well. There was a gas grill on the small back porch, with a very spacious backyard with four fully recline-able lawn chairs, and a half dozen plastic chairs, you can really have quite the BBQ cookout and enjoy the peaceful outdoor environment. Just don't forget the bug spray, we are in the woods by the ocean now! The owners even had 4 adult and 1 children's bike you could use during your stay, and being an avid cyclist I greatly appreciated that! The house is located a mile from the Tiverton Four Corners, an intersection filled with cute little shops and eateries. (http://www.tivertonfourcorners.com/) We found the secluded town of Tiverton to be perfect for our family trip and made the 30 min drive to Newport one day and also drove 20 min to Horseneck Beach in Westport, MA on another day. I highly recommend making the 10 min drive to Sakonnet Vineyards for enjoy their beautiful grounds while tasting their numerous wines. And for a nice dinner, I also highly recommend Boat House Waterfront Dining for fresh, well prepared cuisine in a truly picturesque, ocean front RI setting.
