The apartment is in a bohemian and romantic district of Milan, called ISOLA. The district is only 10 min away from the downtown area (by underground) and still very cheery at night (while the house itself is in a perfect and quite position). The perfect nest!
We are on the third floor, which, you will discover, is full of flowers and colours thanks to my neighbour who loves gardening.
My apt is small but cosy and welcoming. You have a bedroom with a king-size bed and a sofa in the sitting room suitable for both adult and kids.
From home you can reach via Borsieri in few min, one of the most cool streets in Milan. It reminds me of a small Paris boulevard inside the Isola district. Here you will find coffees, pubs, wine bars and moreover the Blue Note jazz club, second opening after the most famous one in New York. Don't miss via Thaon de Revel! Less than two minutes from home and 1 from via Borsieri, it is home address for bikers. So, if you belong to this world, love motorbikes and especially Harley Davidsons, BMWs and Kawasakis, you are in the right place. Here you will not only find a workshop, but also a shop, a coffee bar and a restaurant, the Deus!
Via Thaon de Revel is by now the Bikers' Street in Milan!
You have two underground lines near home ( both named ZARA). this allows you to reach several areas of the city in few minutes. The Duomo (yellow line, stop Duomo, 10 min), Centrale Railway Station (yellow line, stop Centrale FS, 5 min), Porta Garibaldi Station (lilac line, stop Garibaldi FS, 5 min), the expo area (lilac line, stop Lotto and then red line, stop Rho Fiera), famous San Siro stadium (lilac line, stop San Siro Stadio), the whole new futuristic area and its famous Gae Aulenti square with fountains, shops and clubs all around (lilac line, stop Garibaldi FS, or 15 min walking distance), from where you can easily reach the famous Corso Como and Eataly. Moreover, if you need to arrive by car, viale Zara (the street near my apt) is one of the main links to have access to the motorway.
