About Shay Amber Bollt

My husband and I have a great love of historic architecture, antiques and art. We have been restoring old homes in Asheville since 2000. In 2013, we decided to combine our passions by creating these inspired spaces for guests to stay while they explore all the vibrant culture and beautiful mountains found in and around Asheville. The result is our newly renovated apartment building.

Loved this cute little apartment

  • 5 of 5

We reserved this apartment (based on excellent reviews) for our first trip to Asheville to celebrate our anniversary. The apartment did not disappoint. It's an older building, but they have upgraded items and it's a nice, little, cozy place to stay. Parking is on the street and the streets are narrow, but we didn't have any issues. While you could walk to some downtown places, we ended up taking Uber due to the weather and the distance. We were there for three nights and cooked in for two of the three nights, which was great. We will definitely try to stay here on any future trips to Asheville. It was clean, had adequate space for two people and was very cozy to just hang out at home. We highly recommend this property! Thanks for making our first visit to Asheville so enjoyable!!

Ample, airy apartment, fully equipped, on a quiet street just north of downtown.

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was LARGE and well laid out. The queen-size bed was comfortable, and the living room couch served as an additional sleeping place. The open kitchen came fully equipped for cooking, even though the only meals we fixed were breakfast. The linens, bedding and towels were high quality. The TV was great (bring some videos!!). And the location was fantastic — Just north of the downtown arts district, with free parking and a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely come again! — Dev and Gaby

Beautiful, clean suite in a nice neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

This was one of our best bnb experience ever. The place is clean and decorated with taste, fully equipped and located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. There are no mosquitoes or insects to be found (very important to us).

All of these qualities let us feel at home right away, and throughout the whole stay.

Shay and David were very helpful and recommended nice restaurants and activities to do in the area. They were reactive to answer our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely book again!

Lovely

  • 5 of 5

I was very happy during my stay. The apartment is large, clean, and nicely appointed. I especially appreciated the front room, which is windowed and, with the large tree outside, felt a bit like being in a treehouse.
