What makes this Cottage unique
Stunning views - Enchanting Couples Haven!
Great Irish rural cottage
Attentive owners. Remarkable natural surroundings. Indoors modern. Outside views of an earlier Ireland. Easy to reach, but get detailed instructions. Stone walls and cows and sheep and hills stood out. Fireplace with peat agreeable. In midst of Wicklow County with its history and mountains. Also very reasonable.
Adorable seclusion in the mountains
We absolutely loved our drive into this place and the surrounding Wicklow mountains. It was our favorite place to stay on our whole trip. The house was clean and adequately stocked with everything we needed. Our host even offered to make us something to eat since we got in late without groceries but we found a local restaurant in Hollywood satisfied our need. It was an easy drive over to the coast over the mountains and other area tourist locations.
Perfect rural getaway
Mary and Kevin were so accommodating and Mary went out of her way to help us out! The house is much bigger than we expected and had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. There is even a fireplace which was so great to come back to in the evenings. It was very quiet and peaceful after spending days by Dublin. We loved the sheep and the views were terrific! We're birdwatchers and saw quite a few up birds we hadn't seen before there as well as several deer. It was handy to get to Glendalough and Russborough House, both of which are worth a visit. The house is also close to Blessington which was great for restaurants and a grocery store. We would definitely recommend this great cottage to our friends.
Lovely little getaway
If you want peace and relaxation this is the place for you. A lovely little cottage nestled in the Wicklow mountains, a short drive from the village of Holywood. Also a good base for exploring all the towns and villages nearby. Glendalough is a 20 min drive and well worth a visit. Google the Excaliber Drive and it'll take you up and over the mountain past the spectacular Sallygap. Kevin and Mary are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. We and our 2 dogs really enjoyed our break and will definitely be back.
The two of us wanted a short break away from it all so decided on Corriebrack Cottage in Wicklow. As a pet friendly cottage we found it to be ideal for our dog. The owners were very helpful and provided us with a welcome basket of fresh scones! Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and the weather was reasonably kind for January. Would definitely go back to explore more of this beautiful wild countryside.
Lovely remote cottage larger than image suggests
Had a wonderful time relaxing in quiet picturesque area of Eire. Was on business and needed a place to chill out and this was absolutely perfect and owners are lovely people and left me to relax whilst I knew they were local if I had issues which I never did. Inside was well laid out and clean and I could just catch up with things in peace and quiet.
If you want a place to get away from it all, internet free and only couple of channels on tv yet see Ravens and Hooded crows plus other wildlife and make friends with a few sheep then this is the place for you. Probably suit artists or photographers and certainly nature lovers and walkers and families who can spend quality time together.
Blessington town with all the usual amenities plus beautiful lake is about 20 minutes away plus the road through the Wicklow mountains to Bray offers amazing views.
