Located on Calle Carretas, right at Puerta del Sol, this 3-bedroom apartment enjoys an unbeatable location for those visiting Madrid for leisure and tourism. It doesn't get more central than this: Sol is the beating heart of the Spanish capital, and has recently been renovated and redesigned, bringing to life one of Madrid's most famous neighborhoods. The streets that start from the circular square lead to all parts of the city, which means that most of the main sights and attractions are within easy walking distance. The area is vibrant and full of energy, and is home to many excellent cafes, taverns and restaurants. The department store El Corte Inglés and the art deco avenue, Gran Vía, offer excellent shopping, while the historic districts of Los Austrias, Barrio de las Letras and Palacio are close by. The local Sol metro and train station is literally on your doorstep, meaning guests can experience the rest of the city and beyond with ease.

Light and airy, the apartment itself has been decorated and furnished in a modern style and is a perfect contrast to its historical surroundings. The open plan living and dining area is the focal point of the property, providing guests with a comfortable home away from home in which to relax after a long day of sightseeing. It was in a great location of Madrid. Lots of energy and things to do around the square Able to walk to all of the major destinations The only downside was some noise and partying at night from the street and square

street construction!
The apartment is clean, nice, and in a great location. The street construction was a little overwhelming. Large trucks and equipment, and jack hammering right in front of the apartment everyday but one day of our 6 day stay. At one time I took a picture because they had 26 workers sawing, jack hammering and large equipment making an unbearable amount of noise that started at 7:30 am. I would avoid this property until the construction is complete. Without the constant noise I would have rated this a 5 star review.
