About this property

A Beautiful Riverside Villa - a home from home

Satyam, Villa 10, is our private home in Mobor, Cavellosim, Goa. It is a beautiful 8 bed house with stunning views and gardens backing onto the river Sal with our own secluded garden area and a veranda. Situated on a small private gated estate with a (residents only) pool and sunbathing area, the pool and gardens are maintained daily to a high standard.
Our whole house has recently been refurbished. All bedrooms are fitted with air conditioners and have en suite bathrooms. Three out of four bedrooms have a river view and the master bedroom has a balcony. The living areas are fitted with ceiling fans to keep you cool. There is a shady verandah where you can relax overlooking the garden and river. The open plan lounge with a new kitchen has a modern TV with cable showing local and English channels, sports and films.Our housekeeper will be there to ensure everything runs smoothly and to introduce you to our home.
The long, sandy beach is an easy 10 minutes’ walk away with many beach shacks for food and drink in season (October to April). Local bird life is rich and can be seen from our garden and veranda - including Kingfishers, grey Herons and Cranes and Brahmani Kites.
We can suggest bars, restaurants, taxi drivers, day trips to local sights and shopping. Eating out and everyday costs are not expensive and even the local 5 star restaurant is great value for a high quality location and meal.
Our home is around one hour from Goa airport by taxi with many inexpensive flights each day to Mumbai, Delhi and Calcutta.
Satyam will offer you a very comfy home for enjoying and discovering Goa, with stunning weather and some of the world's best beaches. We look forward to sharing our home with you.

Yet again, lovely holiday

We were 3 couples at this holiday home. Large enough for us all to be comfy (does have 4 ensuite bedrooms so could easily take 4 couples). This was our 4th year at this villa and already booked for next year - says it all really!). Beautifully positioned for easy access to beach, shops and restaurants and the villa also enjoys a lovely river view. Well looked after by Fiona who looked after the house for us and who was very helpful.

Absolutely fantastic

This villa is fabulous and fantastic. The location is one of the best I have ever stayed in. We stayed for 3 weeks this time with friends who were in awe of the property and the welcome we received from the house keeper. The cleanliness is great with beds and towels being changed regularly and we felt very looked after. Would definitely book this villa again.

Almost home from home

Excellent property beautiful views right outside the door. Fiona very good at keeping house spotless and helping when things go wrong (one of the A/C units stopped working, was fixed within a day). Very convenient for beach and the many restaurants available in Cavellisom. Already booked for our 4th visit.

Wonderful experience

A big thank-you to Jeremy and his wife for a very enjoyable month is their villa. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped and in a delightful riverside location. Fiona the housekeeper is a wonderful asset and as well as being very pleasant and helpful kept the villa spotlessly clean. Special thanks for providing additional garden furniture and for being such attentive hosts. We hope to return.

Lovely house, lovely situation.

The villa at Luisa by the Sea, Cavelissom is a very comfortable house with beautiful views of the river. Fiona the housekeeper is very helpful. Jeremy the owner very easy to contact and happy to answer any questions we had. Quiet and peaceful to relax and enjoy the weather but also very close to everything else the area offers. Beach and beach shacks only a few minutes walk. Beach has a good selection of shacks and is one of the least crowded we have come across. Restaurants and shops also within a few minutes walk, A large supermarket is nearby if you are self catering (for which the house is well equipped). Taxis readily available if you wish to explore further afield. Weather at this time of year is hot with zero prospect of rain. This was our second stay at the villa and we have already booked to return next year. Surely there can't be a better recomendation!
