About this property

Lovely space situated right next to the Vondelpark and near Museumplein (Museum Square). The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. A fantastic place for families or couple. Do you have a visit to a museum, tour or other attraction in mind? Let us know and we can make these purchases for your arrival.

This historical building was built around 1881 during the development of the Schinkel neighborhood.

The space is situated on the third floor and has been designed for our guests with love and care, the way we would want to be treated if we were the guests. The typical steep Amsterdam stairs are less suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The place is a charming creative space, it's open with two living and sleeping areas. The space can be separated by en-suite sliding doors for privacy. There is a double box spring on one side and two separate box springs on the other side.

The bathroom has a bathtub and the toilet is in a separate room. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, electric kettle and a Nespresso coffee maker.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
+ It is not allowed in Amsterdam to stay with more then four people.
We cannot make exceptions at arrival.
+ We do not accommodate stag parties and such.

We live on the second floor. If the house rules are not followed, you will have to leave our apartment. The reservation amount will not be refunded.

Great Apartment

Interesting and quirky apartment in a great location, central to all the good parts of Amsterdam, lively but away from all the tourists. Great find. Highly recommend if you’re ok with very traditional Amsterdam stairs. Thanks Jean-Paul, hope the apartment is available next time we visit. Cheers Andrew

Our Amsterdam Oasis

Fantastic apartment that is very stylishly appointed and feels more spacious in person. We stayed very comfortably with our two boys who absolutely loved having their own space. The apartment is perfectly located next to Vondelpark and lots of restaurants but far enough away from the tourist traffic. We walked everywhere but a number of trams are at your doorstep. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning.

Fantastic accommodation for a family of four in such a great location

The accommodation perfectly suited our needs a family of four (2 teenagers). It was spacious (for Amsterdam) and light filled! We liked being located a little out of the busyness of central Amsterdam. The location next to the beautiful Vondelpark is an absolute bonus. The apartment is well serviced by places to eat and a supermarket.

Amazing stay in the centre!

My husband and I were visiting from NYC and my nephew and sister-in-law visited from Poland. We had a great time in the amazing flat right in the middle of everything. If you prefer to walk or take the tram you can. Vondel Park is right across the street amongst nothing but shops and eateries. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The flat was cozy and clean. We slept so good and are sad to have said goodbye but we will definitely be returning. Jean-Paul was very communicative and helped us bring our heavy luggage up the stairs. I recommend everyone stay here when they visit Amsterdam you will not regret it!

Stairway to heaven!

Beautiful space, lots of steep stairs you get used to in the area and fantastic Hosts! This flat was a perfect spot to explore Amsterdam and sleep well at night to recharge from the day. We will be back to explore more of this beautiful country and city.
