Classy cabin with awesome view!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, myself and our daughter stayed in this beautiful and very well equipped cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. We could not have been more delighted.

It was very tastefully decorated and had the most wonderful view of Longs Peak. We loved the armchairs that allowed us to enjoy it whilst we drank our coffee each morning. Plenty of deer passed outside our windows too.

We bought firewood in town so that we could enjoy the gorgeous fireplace. Very cozy! The cabin is a little outside of town and not walking distance but we had a couple of vehicles so that was no problem. We actually loved being a little more isolated. We were glad though that snow did not come in because without 4 wheel drive it might have been tough to use the driveway.

Everything worked and was obviously well taken care of. That isn't always the case with these historic cabins but this one has retained all it's historic character and yet had every modern convenience. We absolutely would stay again. It was a gift! Thank you so much Eric.

Adorable Cabin!!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5, including 3 young children. It’s bigger than it looks in pictures, very clean, comfortable beds, and every detail has been thought of. The kitchen had everything you could need, laundry supplies, board games, towels, blankets, etc. The location is great - close to town without being in the crowds and only 20 minutes to RMNP. There is even a small fenced yard area the kids could safely play in. The owner was very accommodating and even emailed some fun activity suggestions for the kids. We would love to come back in the summer and stay!

Stunning views and location

  • 5 of 5

My family and I (husband and two young children) had a great stay at the Keifer Cabin. It was just as described. The view was stunning and the location to RMNP and into town were both quick and easy. Eric was very responsive and easy to work with. It was a perfect fit for us

Ideal Cabin for Exploring Rocky Mountain National Park

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time during our stay at Kiefer Cabin! The cabin was beautiful - spotlessly clean, perfectly comfortable, and well-stocked with any amenities we could ask for. The setting was beautiful - majestic mountain views from huge picture windows, and we were even lucky enough to see 3 large elk pass within about 20 feet of the cabin! The comfortable furniture and large fireplace made the cabin a perfect spot to relax after long days of hiking in RMNP. The location of the cabin was also ideal - quick access to RMNP and town, without feeling like we were surrounded by neighbors. The well-appointed kitchen allowed us to grill some delicious trout on the grill and enjoy dinner on the patio. We really couldn't have asked for a better, more comfortable basecamp for exploring RMNP! We would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone visiting Estes Park, and hope to return soon!

Awesome location and view!

  • 5 of 5

I booked Kiefer Cabin for the last week of September for a trip with my husband, my 6-year-old daughter, and my in-laws. We found the property to be just as the pics and reviews prepared us for. The view of Longs Peak and the elk and mule deer walking right through the yard were enjoyed by all. The kitchen was great for preparing and eating most of our meals. The living room was full of comfortable furniture and the WiFi was appreciated. We spent everyday in the park hiking and enjoying the sights. This was a convenient and relaxing home base for all of us.
