Situated at ground level in our house just 15 minutes walk to restaurants, bars and shopping on Commercial Drive, and to a major transit hub that can take you Downtown, to The University of BC, or to the airport, or if you prefer, a 50 metre walk to the nearest bus stop which will have you downtown in 20 minutes.

A 20 minute walk to some of the best live theatre in Canada at The Cultch.

A 15 minute walk to beautiful Trout Lake for a stroll or picnic.

A 25 minute walk to the up and coming East Village at Hastings St for more great eating and drinking. This is in short, a great neighbourhood!

There is Wifi, a flat screen Smart TV, cd and dvd player as well. The bedroom comes with a Queen bed and ample closet space.

The bathroom features a 2 person soaker tub with air jets, a rain style shower and heated floors.

There is a lovely garden outside the suite entrance with a place to sit and enjoy the sunset.

The house is a quiet place, so you will be guaranteed to be able to rest well.

There is ample free parking on the street in front of our house.

Why Mark & Geraldine chose East Side

We bought this house together after we got married. The previous owners did a fantastic job of renovating this character home and it was obvious how much love they had put into it. It's a great neighbourhood not only for it's location but for the diversity of the people, who are friendly and welcoming.

Very Impressed!

Mark's and Geraldine's suite was the perfect place to call "home" for our four day visit to Vancouver. It is very nicely appointed and all of their recommendations were spot on. We had destinations we wanted to hit located all over the city and found the location to be very convenient. We hope to return in the near future!

Friendly, warm, and exactly what we needed!

We LOVED our stay in this suite! It was quiet, comfortable, and well-located. Our first night, we walked down to Commercial St for Salvadorean food and visits to the local shops. The suite was the perfect bookend to our long days of Vancouver exploration; homemade breakfast in the fully-equipped kitchen each a.m., then the soaker tub in the evening. The lighting options and heated floors made us feel luxurious. When I requested a few recommendations based on our interests, Mark took the time to put together a thorough list of places we may enjoy, which meant a lot to us! So much so, that we're already looking to book another trip with Mark so that we can finish our list and see them again.

The space is on the lower floor of the pictured house. The space is nice and new and clean and modern and in a very quite neighborhood close to downtown. My wife and I had a wonderful stay.

Perfect location, beautiful neighborhood, close to all amenities and a spotless home away from home

My husband and I could not have found a more suitable location in East Vancouver. A short walking distance to the colorful Commercial Drive and with transportation options close by to various parts of the city. The place was very cozy and spotless and the owners were available to help us immediately with any of our needs. If we return to Vancouver this will be our go to home away from home.

Great Stay in East Vancouver

Exceptionally clean and modern suite well located in quiet neighborhood in East Vancouver. Well equipped kitchen. Bright and comfortable living area and bedroom. Large built-in closets and drawers to store clothing out of the way. Close to Commercial Drive, Trout Lake, and public transit. Friendly and accessible host. Stayed five nights in September, would not hesitate to stay even longer in future. Great value for money.

This is a moderately quiet house. Entertaining guests during your rental is fine and normal enjoyment is encouraged, but absolutely no partying! Quiet required by 10pm as this is a family neighbourhood.

  • 100% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
