The Pinto Ranch Hanger Suite is located inside our Airplane hanger ( The "boss" doesn't fly anymore) This is a one bedroom suite with a queen bed and large bathroom. The spacious living area has a large sectional couch that could sleep one more person. The suite has a full kitchen, wifi, and a large screen tv with Netflix, and Pandora available. There is a pond near the hanger you are welcome to visit and try to catch a fish. There is a walking path that crosses the Ranch that you are welcome to use. The mountain views are tremendous! If you are a hunter that has drawn a tag in this area, the Hanger is very central for you. This is a working sheep ranch. Thus, there are sheep around the property to see and I am often out working my border collies. Outdoor activities of all kinds are close by. Fishing, hiking, rock climbing, rafting, horseback riding and more are within 30 minutes of the Hanger. The Yellowstone river is rated a blue ribbon river. Guides are easy to book, or you can fish on your own. Lots of accesses. Yellowstone National Park is just 37 miles south of the Hanger. So much to see there! Chico Resort is 10 minutes away and offers hot springs for soaking and swimming, a fine resturant, bar and grill and a day spa with massage and yoga. Daily Lake is also close with picnic areas, fishing and boating. Lots to do here in this beautiful valley. The Pinto Ranch Hanger is an awesome location to call home base. $50 discount for every seventh night.
I was born and raised here in Montana. I have enjoyed many of the awesome wonders of this area around Bozeman and Livingston. I grew up on skis and spent every weekend at Bridger Bowl Ski Area. I graduated from MSU. Traveled around a bit after graduating college, but landed back in this beautiful place. I got into horses and sheep in 1994. I raise border collies and dearly love the companionship of 5 working dogs. Hunting and fishing are always on the agenda. The view of the mountains around here is just KILLER!!! I can't help but stare in awe (even after all these years). I love seeing the abundance of wildlife every day. Pretty cool to see a bald eagle perched in a tree close to the house, or deer grazing in the pasture. I love this place!
I love the Pinto Ranch Hanger. It may not have a fancy yard or a wrap around deck, but it is cozy and comfortable and has everything you need. It is close to the action in Paradise Valley, and is reasonably priced. Don't let its exterior fool you!!! This place rocks for $100 per night.
We absolutely loved staying here. Private and had all the things we needed in a rental. We will definitely be back! Thanks Kendra!
I really can't say enough good things about my stay at the Pinto Ranch Hanger. Booking was easy and Kindra was in contact with me almost immediately. We stayed in touch via text before I arrived, and she came by to welcome me to the ranch and answered all of my questions.
The pictures shared online are actual property photos!!! And everything was so clean, it seemed like it was brand new! I was so pleased to walk into the unit and see that everything was as described. The view from the front porch was amazing, it was a great place to sit and watch the night sky. I wanted a place with electric heat and was pleased to see that each room had a thermostat so I could heat the room I was using. I also needed WiFi as I knew I would not have great cell service, so this was a lifesaver. The Netflix option was perfect for me, (as I really wasn't there to watch TV) but there is a large TV in the living room. The location in Paradise Valley was just what I was looking for, as I wanted to explore more of Paradise Valley. There was lots of great hiking trails a short drive away, and walking around the ranch every morning with a cup of coffee was a great way to start my day. I brought most of my own food so I needed a full kitchen. Refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster ( for the bread from Wildflour Bakery) all in place. Each space was very comfortable. The living room was large and provided a great mountain view, from the big leather couch.
I am trying to talk my family into staying out in the valley with me next time!!! I know I will be back!
We had such an enjoyable time at the Pinto Ranch. It was Amazing. Close enough to everything. Surrounded by Mountains & quiet & Serene. Kindra has sheep so my husband was able to watch her train one of her dogs to herd. Wonderful person. Truly genuine & kind. The cabin was great. So comfy & cozy. No doubt about this vacation !! Hope to see her again. Thanks for everything !!!
My wife and I stayed 3 nights. We found the hangar clean, quiet, and in a great location!
The hangar is a perfect home away from home. Kindra keeps it well maintained and spotless. Adorable lodge-like decor. It's 30 miles from Yellowstone's north entrance. Beautiful landscape. Kindra stopped by to greet us and give suggestions on where to visit in the area. She's an excellent hostess and fun to chat with. We also got to watch her dog herd sheep! The hangar is a quiet getaway. I am beyond pleased with our stay. Don't forget to sit and view the Montana stars at night. Amazing!
Inside the hanger is gorgeous and had everything we needed. The price was great! We would stay here again and again if in the area.
This listing is located between Livingston and Gardiner in the beautiful Paradise Valley. There are outdoor activities that can be found all the way between these towns. The Yellowstone River runs through this entire valley and is rated a blue ribbon fishing river. The North East entrance to Yellowstone National Park is located in Gardiner (37 miles south of Hanger)
