There is a pond near the hanger you are welcome to visit and try to catch a fish. There is a walking path that crosses the Ranch that you are welcome to use. The mountain views are tremendous! I very much enjoyed myself.

  • 5 of 5

Kendra is a very graceous host. She couldn't do enough for me while I was on her property. If there was anything I needed for cooking, i.e. pots, pans or something needed repaired/replace she was always there to help. She also knows the area and told me of some secret spots to go fishing. I did enjoy myself and would return again.

Beautiful ! Paradise Valley

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at the hanger, great location, clean and had everything we needed. Kendra was very accommodating. The reason for 4 stars is the internet / tv was not working during our stay.

Cute cabin, very clean, great price!

  • 5 of 5

We traveled to the Livingston area for a family visit and loved our stay at the Hangar! It was in the valley between mountains and had a beautiful view. It was very nicely decorated, very roomy and clean! The bathroom was large with big, thick towels provided. Kitchen had a full-size fridge and stove/oven and had everything we needed to make our meals. Kindra dropped by on the first day and was very nice. We even had a chance to watch her working her dogs with the sheep which was very entertaining and impressive. Great to come back to this cabin after visiting Yellowstone Park for a very quiet night in a comfortable bed. Wifi was good and Netflix provided although we were so busy, we only watched one movie the whole week. Fun to see so much wildlife in the area including the three buck deer that were standing in the driveway on our last day. Will definitely choose this place again if we are back in te area!

Away from the madding crowd!

  • 5 of 5

Ms. Kendra's property is located in a simply gorgeous area of Montana- Paradise Valley. The photos don't do the property justice. The Gallatin Mountains form one boundary of the valley, with the Absarokas framing the other side. Now add to this the Yellowstone River flowing down the center. Fill the whole thing with irrigated green fields of alfalfa, herds of cows and sheep, mule deer, elk, and about a half million "gophers". It's quiet, close to Yellowstone National Park's North entrance at Gardiner, and filled with stunning views. The hanger apartment is cozy and comfortable, and has everything you need for a pleasant, peaceful stay. We were there for two weeks, and never turned the television on until the last night of our stay, and only because it was storming. You won't regret making this your choice of stay, and as a plus, you'll get to make the acquaintance of a really nice Lady. We loved the entire experience.

About Kindra Harlow

I was born and raised here in Montana. I have enjoyed many of the awesome wonders of this area around Bozeman and Livingston. I grew up on skis and spent every weekend at Bridger Bowl Ski Area. I graduated from MSU. Traveled around a bit after graduating college, but landed back in this beautiful place. I got into horses and sheep in 1994. I raise border collies and dearly love the companionship of 5 working dogs. Hunting and fishing are always on the agenda. The view of the mountains around here is just KILLER!!! I can't help but stare in awe (even after all these years). I love seeing the abundance of wildlife every day. Pretty cool to see a bald eagle perched in a tree close to the house, or deer grazing in the pasture. I love this place!

What makes this barn unique

I love the Pinto Ranch Hanger. It may not have a fancy yard or a wrap around deck, but it is cozy and comfortable and has everything you need. It is close to the action in Paradise Valley, and is reasonably priced. Don't let its exterior fool you!!! This place rocks for $100 per night.
