Caboose 103 - This Caboose Cabin is set up on the rails, just as it was when it was rolling across the American countryside. You will find the Caboose furnished with a Full/Double Bed, Kitchenette, (coffee maker, microwave, and small refrigerator). The décor of this Caboose Cabin is an old west theme inside. Outside, you will be able to relax on the spacious deck. The deck is shaded and secluded. Wooded views surround the Caboose, providing privacy and creating an intimate setting. The experience of relaxing in the hot tub in the evening next to your caboose in the Arkansas wilderness is one that you will never forget.

Each Caboose has its own private drive which adds to your privacy. All considered, our Cabooses and Depot cabin are more secluded and private than most resorts… No other lodging in the area can compare to this unique experience. It is rare to see a caboose these days. By staying at Livingston Junction, you will become one of a handful of people who have actually spent the night in a caboose!

Additional features include, charcoal grill, small TV with DVD player (bring your favorite movies), private bathroom, shower, and outdoor seating.

Note - Wifi and Cable TV is not provided. We intend for you to relax with each other or with family while at the Caboose… then get out and enjoy Eureka Springs, Beaver Lake and Table Rock Lake, and all the attractions and entertainment available.

Fun place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time. Especially enjoyed the hammock and the hot tub. The train is in an excellent location. Close enough to town to be convienient but far enough to be quiet, private and relaxing.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the great review! The cabooses are fun in the summer when the Eureka Springs Rail Road is active. You can hear the train whistle in the distance while relaxing in the hammock. Hope to see you again.

Customer service was excellent

Had to be moved to a cabin, great upgrade due to a mix up. Fast friendly, will definitely re-book with them.

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed the upgrade. The uncommonly cold weather and icy road conditions caused some adjustments this winter. Thank you for working with us.

Great winter getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We booked Caboose 103 planning to do some hiking in the winter. But after some snow made the roads a little questionable, we decided to spend the day enjoying the Caboose. And enjoy we did! It was cozy, comfortable, and the lack of wifi gave us a welcome break from screens so we could talk, read, and play card games. We also really enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub with a gorgeous view of the snow covered trees and the beautiful Ozarks. It's secluded among the trees (which we wanted) but close to Eureka Springs so you get the best of both worlds. We're definitely planning to book again!

Unique experience

  • 4 of 5

we rented this as a last min. getaway. It was very cute and quaint. I like the seclusion and hot tub was great! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the bed linens were musty. We would stay again.

Absolutely Incredible

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we pulled into the drive, we were amazed by the seclusion and beauty of the area. We were a couple hundred feet away from the nearest Caboose. All the books and memorabilia on the Caboose really made you feel like you were back in the old west. Loved the CD provided that played a train traveling down the tracks. Another great thing is that you are not so far away from Eureka Springs. Which made it easy to head into town for shopping and site seeing. Just a half an hour away from other great places to visit. We will definitely be back.
