"Castle View" - 3 bed - Edinburgh Old Town (Sleeps 4-6 persons)

Back for Summer 2018, 'Castle View' is at 70 West Port, forming part of the historic Cordiner’s Land Close. It is a recently refurbished 3 bedroom apartment, fully equipped and well appointed. It is located on the third floor (sorry, no lift or elevator in this historic building) affording a rooftop view outlook over the Old Town and onto Edinburgh Castle. There are 3 good sized double bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 smaller (4ft width) double bed). Whilst there is no separate living room, there is comfortable bench seat in the contemporary kitchen and also a sofa in the biggest of the bedrooms. Flat screen TV in the kitchen and Wi-fi are included. Ideal for larger families or visiting friends groups.

LOCATION
A superbly central location, but providing an oasis of calm in the middle of Edinburgh's Old Town. A Sainsbury’s metro store is 1 minute walk away and ,the immediate area includes the Lyceum Theatre, Usher Hall, National Museum of Scotland and Odeon cinema complex on Lothian Road. The Grassmarket is 2 minutes walk and also the lovely shopping Street of Victoria Street. Restaurants, pubs and cafes a plenty in this most vibrant and historic part of Edinburgh.

Lovely apartment in Grassmarket neighborhood

Great location near the bustling area of Grassmarket (lots of pubs and shops) in view of Edinburgh Castle. We walked to sights, pubs, restaurants and it's close to the main train station (0.7 miles). The apartment was tidy and had everything we needed. Be aware- it's a 4th floor walk-up (no elevator) wi-fi worked fine. Check-in was very easy. Highly recommend for families. we loved our stay.
