Why JD chose East Village

My girlfriend and I wanted a larger home downtown with some outdoor space to entertain family and friends. I love the architecture of the home with the dramatic 22 foot ceilings. We used the home regularly as our second home until a family issue limited our trips to San Diego.

What makes this house unique

There is simply nothing else like it for rent downtown. It also is a single family home which means renting it out is not violating a home owners association policy, every condo downtown cannot be rented for less than 30 days. Owners still do it but you never know when it will become an issue for one of their guests. No such worries with this home.

Super modern and very well appointed!

This property is beautifully remodeled and perfectly appointed. Top notch accommodation with a great location convenient to the convention center, gaslamp and Petco Park. The owner is super nice and very responsive. We had a small issue with the wifi and he was all over it and got it corrected immediately.

Nicely appointed home in a very central location

Overall we were very happy with this vacation rental property. We stayed there for four days with two adults and five kids. Even though the place is only about 2000 square feet there was plenty of room for all of us including a bed for every kid. The modern design has been well thought out. It was nice to have a garage in downtown San Diego to park. Groceries are a short walk or drive away. It was very convenient to make breakfast in the morning and go out all day then return and grill some burgers on the gas grill on the back patio. The appliances and other components used in the property are a higher end than I would have expected in a vacation rental. The only negative might be traffic noise from the street in front of the property. Honestly, I could not tell for the vast majority of the time we were there. But in reality, if you want to stay in downtown San Diego with a garage i don't know how you can do that with out hearing some traffic noise.

We loved our stay in this fabulous house. Host thought of all the details. Everything was super clean, organized, and comfortable. Location was good, quiet street. Perfect for our group business trip and easy to walk to convention center.

Perfect spot for a large group!

We rented this VRBO for a wedding with a few couples. We all flew in at different times but loved being able to drop our luggage in the hallway while the cleaner was working inbetween visitors. The place is very clean, nice showers, comfortable beds and in an ideal location to many bars/restaurants in the area. JD was very responsive to my messages and the whole process was very easy. Would recommend to anyone considering renting from him, this place is ideal! Thank you JD for your hospitality
