Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, one double and one twin, you will find all the home comforts you need to make your holiday extra special. Situated on the holiday resort The Bay, with inclusive leisure centre pass, local pub serving food and direct beach access, the cottage offers all you need, whether you want to explore the Yorkshire coast or just enjoy a relaxing holiday any time of the year. Free parking spaces available around the property.
On entry to the cottage you will find in the hall with a place to store you coats and shoes and a down stairs toilet. The open plan living area has a TV/DVD, a selection of DVDs, board games and unlimited WIFI, leading to the dining area which looks out onto the patio with outdoor table and chairs, there are boules courts around the site that can be used anytime (boules available in the cottage). The kitchen comes with all the equipment you need to cook a Sunday roast, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. We also provide an iron and ironing board.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a double with a walk in wardrobe and a twin with a small wardrobe. Both bedrooms have a TV/DVD and a hairdryer is also provided. In the bathroom there is a full size bath with a rainfall shower. Beds will be made for your arrival and towels provided.
Unfortunately at Ridgeway Cottage we do not allow pets.
On the site there is a pharmacy and The Jon Paul Jones Pub. The leisure centre has a swimming pool with sauna and a gym both of which can be used free of charge when staying in the property (pass provided), there are also a selection of payable activities on offer through the leisure centre.
The beach of Filey bay is accessible from the site, just a 10 minute walk away from the cottage you will find views of Filey to the left and Bempton Cliffs to the right. At low tide you can walk along the beach to Filey in about 30 to 40 minutes.
If you have not visited Filey before Filey is a small, unspoilt fishing town with a wide appeal and situated in a delightful part of the Yorkshire coast. The town is steeped in history and has earned its living from the sea for centuries. It has a wide range of bars (14 at the last count) and restaurants (booking advisable) as well as several miles of beautiful beach.
The complex is ideally situated for exploring the North Yorkshire coast and surrounding areas, with Bridlington, Scarborough and RSPB at Bempton Cliffs just a 15 minute drive away.
