Our cosy chalet-apartment sits on a quiet street in the village of Les Houches, in the Chamonix Valley, at the foot of Mont Blanc. It has fantastic views of the valley mountains, including l'Aiguille du Midi, and has a beginner piste at the end of the road. It's really lovely!

It is a chalet-apartment, in a set of 3 on the same property. It sleeps up to 6 people, close to the village centre and local transport, incl. the free ski bus. The property is also situated alongside the Tour du Mont Blanc hiking route and is close to the trailheads for climbing the mountain itself. Ideal!

The Space:
'Maison du Bois' has 2 bedrooms and a separate toilet and bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed. Bedroom 2 has 2x single beds that can be made into a large double bed (superking) on request. There is also the option of a double sofa bed in the living room.

Facilities include:
- Dining table (6 seats), oven/hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, internet capable TV and Wifi.
- All linen and towels provided (1x bath towel per person and 2x communal hand towels).
- A ski locker is available at the back of the property.
- there is space for two cars at the front (uncovered, either side of the front deck).

The house is most suitable for couples, small groups and families but please note we have no facilities for babies/toddlers. You're obviously welcome to bring your own. No parties are allowed as it's a quiet place, with close neighbours who have a young family.

Nearby:
2 min walk = beginner ski piste and sledging.
5 mins walk = Bus stops, main road, pizza takeaway, ski hire, ice skating and bar.
10 mins walk = village centre, supermarket, restaurants and boulangerie.

Chamonix town centre is a 10 minute drive up the valley and the nearest ski lifts in Les Houches are a 5 minute drive or bus ride away.
