Great beachfront getaway
Bungalow 8 is a lovely beachfront unit. There are also many great restaurants within walking distance. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great location in Malibu. 4th time staying here and looking forward to the next time at this cool spot!

Loved this place!
You could not be closer to the ocean. Beautiful beach to play on during the day. The house is dated (bathrooms kitchen) but the furnishings were great. Bed was comfortable- unlike previous reviews that stated it was not. I think for the area this is a great value and we will be coming back. It was a very cozy beach cabin and we loved it.
On the beach!
Great cottage right on the water. We loved being so close to the crashing waves and had everything we needed during our stay. The kiddos (9 & 13) used the pull-out couch without issue and there was still plenty of room to enjoy the living space. Easy access and parking was extremely helpful. Easy walk to the pier and surfing area but great boogie-board waves just outside our door!
Spectacular view. It’s a lovely though aging bungalow. I’d get rid of any furniture that blocks the view. Seriously it’s a piece of Heaven.
It’s a little lightly stocked with things like beach towels and punctuated with a pretty scary threat of $$$ penalty if the toilet gets stopped up. I understand the infrastructure is old, but I was counting the number of squares of tp.
There is also a lot of road noise in the bedroom- most properties are designed to block that. Given the income it generates these things could be improved. As long as those waves are crashing I’d probably stay there again. But, it could use some sprucing up.
We are in the heart of Malibu! Only 11 miles from the Santa Monica Pier, 2 miles from Pepperdine and the location provides easy access to Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Downtown Los Angeles.
