About Christy Chamberlain
We are a family owned business and have been renting our cabins since 2005. We strive to update and improve them every year. You will find members of our family on site all summer to answer any questions or to help with any problems. Christy Chamberlain is our property manager and also takes care of any questions or problems you may have during your stay. She is very quick to return any calls and takes care of problems in a very timely fashion. We all love nature and the mountains and are drawn to water like the beautiful Raystown Lake. We travel often and want to have our guests experience the same quality stay we would enjoy. We all work during the summer to make any improvements on our cabins to make your stay with us more enjoyable. We purchased the property in 2005 and since that time have upgraded furniture, decks and the front porch. From the front porch you can and relax as you enjoy a cool drink and feel the cool breeze as the evening sets in. There are 6 chairs around the fire pit so you can enjoy time with family and friends or just enjoying everyone roasting marshmallows. The back deck is convenient to have your morning coffee while overlooking acres of wooded area and watching all the wildlife.

Weekend Stay
Lovely cabin at Raystown Lake. Convenient to Penn State University! Thanks for your hospitality. Will certainly book again.
Thank you Elaine! We are so glad you enjoyed it and will be happy to have you back!
Nice cabin- Well equipped -great location to Raystown Lake
A nice cabin! We were outside most of time by the firepit!. Had everything we needed. Like another renter, I also had an issue with the musty bedrooms in the basement. My husband didn't mind but it was all I could do was to just sleep down there. The bathroom down there was ok. I feel a dehumidifier would really help the issue. When we went to use the grill outside, we found the propane tank empty. The instruction sheet said that extra propane tank was down by the shed. There were no full propane tanks down there only an empty one. With that said, the rest of the cabin was good! Check in was so convenient!!!!
Hi Stephanie,
We have added dehumidifiers to all of the cabins. We apologize that you weren't able to find the full propane tanks. We sure hope you'll come back again!
Very Nice
We were lucky that we were the only guests in the cabins during our stay - peaceful and quiet with wonderful weather! It would be nice to have windows that open to the outside to get some fresh air in the bedrooms.. The accommodations and cleanliness of the cabin was spot on with the other reviews - very nice! Thanks for the nice time!
Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed your stay! Please come again!
Sweet Shack

Nice cabin in the woods
Nice place where we were able to relax and it is just a short drive to the mountain bike trails. Met the owner and he was very friendly and easy going.
Hi Steven, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We hope to see you again!
Family get away
The red roof cabin was wonderful. Pictures are spot on. The owners came to greet us Friday night and were very nice. This was a nice gesture to introduce themselves and see if everything was ok. We had an issue with one toilet on Friday into the morning hours and I emailed them and they came over Saturday while we were out and fixed the issue. I would highly recommend and cabin (red, green, brown) as the properties and owners are fabulous. Short ride to Raystown Lake. You won’t be disappointed.
Hi Jamie,
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your recommendation! We do our best to be on top of issues as soon as they arise! We hope to see you again next season!
