About Christy Chamberlain

We have been renting our cabins for 10 years and are committed to making your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. Our family owned business consists of Gordy & Judy Groff and our son Steve, his wife Megan and two children Chloe & Ella. We have three other grandchildren, Katie, Kristie and Nick which enjoy coming to the mountains and helping with any project we are doing to improve the properties. Beth Morningstar is our property manager and takes care of any questions or problems you may

have during your stay. She is very quick to return any calls and takes care of problems in a very timely fashion.

We all love nature and the mountains and are drawn to water like the

beautiful Raystown Lake. We travel often and want to have our guests

experience the same quality stay we would enjoy.

We all work during the summer to make any improvements on our cabins

to make your stay with us more enjoyable. We purchased the property

in 2005 and since that time have upgraded furniture, decks and the front

porches. From the front porch you can and relax as you enjoy a cool drink

and feel the cool breeze as the evening sets in.

There are 6 chairs around the fire pit so you can enjoy time with family

and friends or just enjoying everyone roasting marshmallows.

The back deck is convenient to have your morning coffee while overlooking

our ten acre wooded area and watching all the wildlife.

We were looking to just get away for a weekend and relax. This was the perfect cabin and area for it. The owner was quick to answer all questions and everything was very clean upon arrival. We will be sure to rent again in the future!

Great place to relax

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I wanted a place for us to relax, recharge and reconnect. The red roof cabin was perfect. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet which is exactly what we needed. The cabin was amazing, having all the amenities that you need, cute décor and exceptionally clean. We will definitely keep this cabin in our book of favorites and we expect to book again in the fall. If thinking about this cabin - I would recommend booking your stay.

Fall Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We rented the Red Roof Cabin for my son's 13th birthday and it was one of our best family vacations ever. We loved the cabin. Everything about it was perfect. The cabin was very clean and the price was very reasonable. We went hiking at Trough Creek, which we absolutely loved. At night enjoyed family time by the fire roasting marshmellows. We went fishing at Aitch Fising Pier and went to Hawns Overlook. We can not wait to start planning our next trip to Huntingdon and plan on staying in the same cabin again!

Spent the weekend here while attending the Penn State v Indiana game. Much more relaxing than staying in a hotel. We will do it again.
