We Couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations the location and the host. The location is great right by the trolley stop very easy to get downtown no hassles with traffic and plenty good place to eat nearby as well as good shopping . Backyard with the pool and Jacuzzi was perfect as well . The room was quiet and comfortable and very private. We will be staying there again on our next trip back to New Orleans

Loved Coming Back for More

Our return to Tara’s stylish and comfortable place was even better than our first as all the back yard construction is now complete and beautiful. A real oasis in the heart of Uptown right on St. Charles.Tara is cordial and available and the trolley is right out the front door.

The Perfect Spot!!

We had the best time in NOLA and staying here was a bonus. We did not want to stay on Bourbon Street, and after being there we were glad we chose to stay in this perfect little spot. It's considered uptown and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful homes. Great restaurants within walking distance or you can just on the street car which is right at the top of the street! (30 second walk) We had use of the entire back yard and patio that was off of our room. It was like a little oasis! Tara was a great host and was available for anything we needed - but was never overly involved. We definitely felt as though we had our privacy. If you decide to stay here, you won't be disappointed. Bed is very comfortable, AC works great!

Beautiful property...excellent host!

Went to visit Tulane with my daughters for a few days. We stayed at Tara’s beautiful place and loved it! The property is beautifully decorated and is impeccably clean. Tara was wonderful. Gave us great recommendations and tips during our stay. Would definitely stay her again when back in Nola!

A Fabulous Location!

So enjoyed the trolleying up and down St Charles to the French Quarter! The location meets the travelers needs with great food, a drug store and a whole lot of Garden District which we love! The apartment was perfect with a private porch and spa to enjoy the NOLA skies. We Ubered alot and the locals were generous with their personal stories and insights of the city. Thank you for opening your home. We love New Orleans and highly recommend staying with Tara! Happy Madi Gra!

Great Winter Getaway!

Both Tara and John were perfect hosts! We were treated "like family" from our initial contact---and continually throughout our stay. Our 2 week winter getaway was spent enjoying all that the neighborhood/city had to offer. Days of thoroughbred racing, museums, nearby college campuses, parks, etc were followed by dinners at Kenton's, Emeril's, Antoine's, Acme Oyster Company, etc., as well as local New Orleans, French, Italian, and Vietnamese establishments. A Sunday Jazz Brunch at Commanders' Palace made a superb way to spend a laid back Winter Sunday afternoon. Though the French Quarter is a distance away, the trolley (only $3.00 for a day pass) makes a wonderful additional advantage to this cozy cottage!
