Located in the heart of the Black Hills, you’ll find Hilltop Cottage full of charm and conveniences. This home was built in the mid-1920’s by the owners of Willis Dry Goods, which was located where Carson Drugstore is today. Positioned high up you can see the city of Custer, the Custer sign (which lights up every night), mountains, sunrises and sunsets, which make for an unforgettable stay.
This home has 4 bedrooms: two on the main floor with queen beds and two on the upper floor with double beds (one has a futon and a TV with DVD/VCR and a kids' video library) and 1 full bathroom located on the main floor, towels and linens provided. Also on the main floor you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, formal dining room with French doors, comfortable living room with a 50" flat screen Smart TV with cable, a DVD player and a video library. On the east side of the home you’ll find a large stamped concrete patio with a gas grill, fire pit with stone benches, a large yard, and a beautiful view you can enjoy while sipping your coffee or roasting marshmallows around the fire. You’ll also find a private driveway with a 20’ x 26’ carport nestled close to the house and additional parking in front of the home. There’s free WiFi throughout the home and other items to help you enjoy your stay such as roasting sticks, folding chairs, card table, board games, hairdryer, and first-hand knowledge of the area from lifetime residents of Custer!
There is no cleaning fee, we just ask that you leave the home as close to the same condition is was when you arrived.
