About this property

Cozy, clean knotty pine interior on Houghton Lakes beautiful sunny north shore. 55 feet of private lakefront with a sandy bottom and a gradual drop which is nice for swimming. Cottage has three bedrooms, two with a queen size bed, one with a trundle bed which has a set of twin beds. The relaxing living room has a couch, sleeper couch with a full size mattress, comfortable lazy boy and chairs, and a large window to enjoy the view of the lake. The cottage is fully carpeted. The bathroom is modern with a full size shower and tub unit. The cottage has two refrigerators. We supply two boat lifts and a dock.

Cozy Cabin

This was a cozy little cabin on the lake. Had everything we needed and enjoyed our week on the lake. Had one issue with the cabin the owners were very responsive and quick to take care of the issue. Would love to stay here again.

Perfect Summer Getaway

What a relaxing summer getaway spot. Far enough away from “town”, yet only a short drive to attractions. We swam, fished, geocached, had campfires, and explored local attractions. Very kind, supportive owners who are available when needed. All in all, a week well spent!

Great time

The owners were quick to respond to any inquiries and we found the cottage to be just as described. The lake view was beautiful and the cottage was cozy and clean. Overall great stay!

Wonderful cabin on the lake

Very comfortable cabin with great views of the lake. Cabin has everything you need including two air conditioners and a Keurig. A boat slip is available, which makes it very easy to access the water. Owners are very friendly and care deeply about your visit and are easy to get a hold of if needed. This is a beautiful, comfortable place with a nice rustic look.

This cottage is located on the north side of Houghton Lake among privately owned cottages. There is less traffic and you have the yard all to yourself.

What makes this property unique

Wonderful neighbors on both sides. We offer two boatlifts and provide a 12 foot row boat. Walking distance from a small store that sells tasty ice cream, pizza, meats, soda, adult beverages, and fishing bait as well as other food items.
