"Warm & Cozy"

  • 5 of 5

I visited the home for my daughter's wedding and made a fabulous choice. The home was so cozy...it was updated nicely but the original charm remains. It was so nice to feel like you were in a warm home. Arrangements were easy and the hosts Darlene and John were very accommodating. The bottle of wine was a very nice touch. I definitely will be back!

Overall, I highly recommend the home if you are visiting the area.

The weather couldn't stop this from being memorable.

  • 5 of 5

Despite the sour weather throughout the weekend our stay was as pleasant as the community's name suggests. We arrived to a clean, warm, and inviting home. We were welcomed with a gift and message welcoming us for the weekend. The home was spacious enough for four adults and a canine companion. Our plan was for a weekend filled with fellowship and old fashioned home cooking. We got just that! With the weather keeping is mostly indoors we found the kitchen and dining room more than accommodating to our needs as amateur chefs.

We were able to make it to the downtown area and found it to be lovely. It's filled with many quaint shops and is wonderfully walkable from the home.

Any slight question of small issue that came up was quickly answered and handled by the hosts, and I would recommend staying here if you have the chance and are looking for a place to hang your hat.

Lovely house in a very nice neighbourhood. Walking distance to restaurants and stores on Arnold Avenue and Bay. Only one mile to the beach. The kitchen is new as of 2016 with high-end appliances and cabinets.
