Escape to to what is known to our family for the past 50 years as the most magical place on earth!!!! El Cocal is a Gated community of Beach Houses tucked away between the beautiful mountains and caribbean ocean of in the east coast of Puerto Rico. Here your mind, body, and soul can't help but relax and become one with nature.
Villa Mar is a brand new house with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Master Bedroom has a queen size bed. 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with twin bed on top and full on the bottom with a trundle bed. 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed. Full kitchen,living room tv, dvd , ipod station, games, movies, dinning room , big porch looking to ocean views, hammac and outdoor furniture, outdoor shower and bathroom,washer and dryer, all linens and towels provided, parking for 2 cars, club house with basketball court, beach chairs, basketball, etc.. Brand new private inbound pool(pictures coming soon)

Truly enchanted

The pool, the view, the minute walk to the beach, the peace and quiet - this spot cannot be beat if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. It is a drive to anywhere touristy (an hour with good traffic, more with bad traffic to San Juan) so keep that in mind if your goal is to be near the action. The house was perfect for our family of five. King size bedroom with en suite bathroom for my husband and me, our daughters shared the bunk room, and our son had the queen bed room. I will say, the beds are not the comfiest I’ve ever slept on, but we were so tired every night that it didn’t make much of a difference. Sun coming into the bedrooms WILL wake you up in the AM, no blackout curtains to be seen here, but it’s easy to get up when the view from the deck and pool is absolutely breathtaking. Drinking coffee outside while my five year old played in the pool all morning and being in awe of the incredible views was the BEST way to wake up while we were there. We LOVED this spot and if we ever travel back to Puerto Rico, it will be our go-to. Do not hesitate to book this home!

Mother’s Day getaway

Our family loved Elizabeth’s Home! Great location gated community my family felt safe. The home had everything you would need, extra towels, we loved the indoor outdoor living felt spacious. We arrived at 4am Elizabeth was very nice to provide milk cereal banana and bread for my children to eat when we got to the house. They were very hungry from travel and it was too late stores weren’t open yet. She responded to us quickly whenever we had any questions. Our flight was cancelled Elizabeth was accommodating in letting stay another night. We are already planning our next trip and plan on booking the same house!

Beautiful place in a beautiful place

Everything was simply perfect (and exactly as advertised)! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. This place is magical! Two suggested improvements (please): 1) The "wand" for opening the gate never worked for us. Please correct this problem. We tried everything we could think of (and probably looked pretty silly trying some things), but we always had to call to have the gate opened. 2) The cushions on the sofas - both inside and outside - are really in need of an upgrade. These are only (hopefully) helpful suggestions. This is an amazing and beautiful place, in an amazing and beautiful place.

An Island Paradise!

Exactly as described. It’s a beautiful home with an awesome pool, spectacular views and sunrises, and gentle breezes. We loved it so much that we booked again for next year. Seriously, if you want a quiet peaceful gated neighborhood with all of the above, this is the place.

Fantastic stay!

Amazing property and location. Host is incredible, immediate communication if needed. The beach is beautiful, pool just right and easy drive to restaurants and provisions. Hope to visit again!

Why they chose this property

EL Cocal is a very special place for me and my family. My grandparents bought a beach house when El Cocal was created 50 years ago. As a Kid my family used to spend weekends at the Beach House. This was and is my happy and safe place, lots of Great memories!!!!!
My family loved this place so much that my parents retired at the Beach house and I recently built two villas to keep coming every year with my husband and two beautiful boys. I want for them to experience what I experience as a child, tranquility, family time and quality of life.
If you are looking for your happy place this might be the one!!!
