Family Cabin & Fish Camp - managed by Voyageurs Guide Service & Property Management. Road access - drive to cabin right on the lake, no shuttling family and luggage across the lake in wind or rain. Huge lawn and beautiful garden with 2 lake facing decks to relax on, a big fire pit on the rock point, and a small beach. 30" and 20" dock: Parking/space for up to 4 boats. Freezer, Refrigerator, Washer and Dryer, Air conditioning, 6 Lazy-Boys to relax on, WIFI, 2 satellite TV's, furnace and wood burning stove.
This has been our family's summer retreat for the past 25 years. My daughter and her family own the cabin right next door. Talk to her son, Michael who manages the property about guided fishing trips, unique day trips and where the best spots are to recreate on the lake. He knows the hidden gems! This place is unique in that it's one of few that has road access - making your arrival and departure smoother and easier. Cabin is rambler for easy access.. Lake side windows for gorgeous views. 200 ft of lakeshore frontage allows for spectacular views and privacy. Nearby Scotts Seaplane base is a convenient launching pad for fly-in Canadian fishing trips. A 10 min boat ride to Voyageurs National Park and the BWCA - miles and miles of pristine wilderness and unexplored interior lakes.
Provides a great home-base for daily adventures on and off the lake, as well as a relaxing, comfortable space to start and end your day.
Getting in and out with trucks and boat trailers is extremely difficult!
Walleye fishing wad horrible.
I enjoyed the stay last year and twice this year.
Wow...what else can I say. After spending five days here, I cannot wait to get back! The cabin is well equipped with everything you could need/want. It's super clean, convenient, and in a quiet secluded part of the lake. Crane lake gives you access to so many other waterways with amazing fishing that you are open to your imagination. Highlight of our vacation, was a guided fishing trip with Michael to Lac Lacroix. He put us right on the fish, cooked an amazing shore lunch, and helped me catch the largest walleye of my fishing career. I can't wait to go back!
This home is well appointed, roomy and clean. Michael, the property manager, was friendly and very helpful. We're going back in September.
Felt like home. GREAT neighbors. Can't wait to return
The property was clean and spacious. It had 2 docks, a fish cleaning station, a firepit with a picnic table next to the firepit. Nice location. Far enough from civilization for a getaway but with enough necessities nearby.
