About Vacasa of Oregon Coast

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

The street sign says Arthur’s Rd, not Arthur’s court

 • 4 of 5

This was a nice cozy place to stay. Not fancy but nice. The Oceanview is mostly blocked by the landscape, trees & shrubs. The landscaping is nice but it does block the view, And since we selected this house based on the fact that it said it had of you I feel it was a bit overpriced. The hot tub was highly chlorinated. And we broke out in hives when we used it. The bunkbed in the kids room was quite creaky. Otherwise we really enjoyed the stay.

Owner's Response: We appreciate this feedback as it is comments like this that allow us to provide the most enjoyable and safest stay. The owners bring in professional crews to keep the tops of the vegetation knocked down; they have been scheduled to come in this spring. We apologize for the elevated level of chlorine and will monitor this in the future to ensure every hot tub is maintained with totally balanced chemicals. The bunk beds have been reinforced to address the creakiness. Thanks!

Small but cozy

 • 5 of 5

We stayed here with 5 friends (no kids) and absolutely loved it. The view was beautiful, the house was cozy with beautiful wood work & tile. The rooms were small and close to each other, but it worked for our group. There wasn’t much room to store our items (bag, suitcases,...) but it wasn’t a big deal for us. And the pottery was beautiful! I wish I could eat off those plates every night!

Great location, cozy getaway.

 • 4 of 5

I love Oceanside and have stayed in many different houses in this sleepy town. Arthur’s court was great. It’s not nearly as nice or big as the pictures make it seem, but it was still a great spot for a getaway. We cooked our own meals and it had everything we needed. The ceramic kitchenware was a really nice touch. The hot tub wasn’t hot when we arrived and it took about 5 hours to heat up. Not ideal for a winter stay, but once it did heat up it was amazing. The only real downer was a quite aggressive neighbor who swore at us when we got in the hot tub around 10pm. We’re a really mellow crew in our 30s who were enjoying a quick dip before bed and a woman yelled some pretty upsetting things at us for our volume. We apologized but were really upset by it since we know we were being respectful of the area. Our advice, speak only in a whisper after 9pm.

Owner's Response: We are sorry to see this guest did not have a good experience with the neighbor. We do ask that our guests observe quiet hours by 10pm so permanent residents in the area are not wary of having a rental in the neighborhood. Thanks!

Nice quiet cozy house

 • 5 of 5

The kitchen is well stocked and has nice dishes. Comfortable bed in the master. We only used the one. Easy directions and access to the home. It is a small well-designed rental. The house has a somewhat obscured view of the ocean. We took a walk in the neighborhood and found great ocean views.

October weekend for five

 • 4 of 5

My four adult daughters and I recently stayed at Arthur's Court for a long weekend. We enjoyed the house and the area very much. There was plenty of space to sleep comfortably, eat and lounge.

The Hot Tub was great, but never seemed to get to the full desired warmth. It was a bit on the lukewarm side. I agree with past reviews that the bushes/pine trees could be trimmed a bit so you could enjoy a view from the hot tub as well as from inside. Though you can see the water when standing on the front deck and or in front of the dining table, it would be nice to have a bit better view. It also would have been nice to have beach towels for the hot tub instead of the bath towels.

We were asked to turn on the dishwasher, but there was no dishwasher soap.

It was a quiet neighborhood which was nice and a quick drive to the beach. Directions to get down to the beach would be helpful. We had to figure it out upon arrival and just missed the sunset. The area had a lot to offer - nice walks on the beach, a visit to the Cape Meares Light House and trail walks, good restaurants. We went to Tillamook Cheese factory - didn't take the tour. If we had maybe it would have been worth the drive.

We did have my daughters dog with us. She did very well and loved the runs on the beach.

Overall, a great weekend with beautiful weather for October!

This property is in severe need of some upkeep and updating.

 • 1 of 5

Way to expensive! We've stayed in much nicer places through Vacasa for half the price, and we got the last minute discount. It's dillusional what they're asking for this place. The flaws are to many to list but the fact that there is no patio furniture at a "beach house" is inexcusable. The broken screen door and hot tub cover, literal hole in the wall, non painted porch railing, no cupboards for food, stain on the walls and small size are all factors in the rating.

Felt severely ripped off.
