About Steve & Dean Eson

We have over 15 years' experience in both innkeeper hospitality and tenant rentals. As owners, we live only about 90 minutes away, and use our condo in the off-season when it's not being used by our rental guests. It's not just another beat-up shore property. We keep it clean and well-maintained, and the condominium management company does a great job operating the building. We're very comfortable staying here and hope you will be too. Why Steve & Dean Eson chose Admiral Estates

We purchased this property because of its convenient access to the the beach and close proximity to downtown. It's small but comfortable, with good parking, a beautiful pool and patio, and full complement of amenities. Plenty of dining and recreational options nearby. Located at the northeastern end of town, the surrounding neighborhood is upscale and quiet. It's perfect for families. We're less than 150 yards from the beach, so it's very convenient. Our unit's first floor location also makes it ideal for the pool, patio, and barbecue use; and loading/unloading the car with available luggage carts is a breeze.

What makes this condo unique

Cape May is the most unique of the New Jersey shore towns, with charming Victorian architecture and a noteworthy place in American history as the country's oldest seaside resort. Because the entire town has been designated a National Historic Site (the only one of its kind in the U.S.), preservation efforts ensure it changes very little from year to year. It's conveniently accessible via the Garden State Parkway or Route 55 through Vineland; and the Cape May/Lewes ferry service makes the Delaware shore & Rehoboth beach area easily accessible as well.

Very nicely refinished, affordable condo in Cape May. Great location too!

Condo is exactly what you see in the pictures. Very nicely laid out floor plan and beautiful finishes. We loved all the soft-close cabinetry and drawers! I also like how the owners kept tech in mind: two smart TVs we could use to sign into Netflix at night, extended wi-fi range, fast internet, and a really cool auto-night-light in the bedroom which kept us from stumbling around in the middle of the night.

The condo itself is not facing the beach, but it's still only a block away: about a five-minute walk. Plus, it's by the nicer, wider side of the beach, compared to further west down Beach Ave, where the beach is narrower and has a steeper drop-down from the beach into the water.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed being able to take strolls up and down Beach Ave straight from the condo, seeing all the beautiful houses and checking out the shops. Overall we would very highly recommended this as a vacation spot. Owners did a great job with the finishes. If you like Cape May you'll like this condo. The listing says it sleeps five, but I would say it's more suitable for up to a family of four. Five would be a little too cramped since there's only one bathroom.

I only have two complaints. These didn't affect my rating and most people probably won't care since they are small details, but I mention this for those that do and also for the owners to perhaps look into.

#1: While the condo was visually clean upon our arrival, the floors were pretty dirty and failed the "white sock" test. Just walking on them we could tell they hadn't been cleaned very well, if at all. Also, the living room rug had crumbs and bits of things all over it. The rental says a cleaning service comes between renters so I'm not sure why the floors would be that dirty. Thankfully there's plenty of cleaning supplies so I was able to Swiffer Wet Jet and vacuum the floors to get them clean.

#2: The rugs in the bedroom could really use some non-slip padding underneath. They kept sliding out from underneath us as we would step off of them. Eventually we just decided to roll them up and put them aside until we left. Other than that, this is great place to stay! Would definitely rent from Steve and Dean again.

Best Ever

This was the best-ever rental for us, and we have traveled a lot. This condo is in a great location in Cape May. It is bright, well designed, so functional, and well stocked with everything needed, plus a very thorough info book for the condo and Cape May. It was a pleasure to “meet” the owners “online”! We will stay here again.

Summer fun! It was a blast!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Cape Roc! The condo was well stocked, organized, and extremely cleaned. Close to the beach. The pool was cleaned and well kept.

We enjoyed how quiet the area was. ( I'm not one for crowds).

Steve and Dean ( the owners ), explained everything to us, in full detail in their email. Love That! If, I had any questions, they answered them quickly.

I would recommend, this condo to anyone.

Nice, clean, modern and friendly owners

My friends and I had a very pleasant week staying here. It was recently updated and clearly very well taken care of. It's a convenient one block walk from the beach. The unit is also right in front of the pool which is great because you can go swimming while you wait for your turn to shower haha. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
