Very quiet town. Very safe town! Pool area was beautiful, not far from house . There was also a hot tub there. Nice and warm, clean.

House and patio was spacious. Clean! Barbeque on deck, lots of chairs, table on deck. Access to the garage to park in.

Would highly recommend this house.

The Haas House

  • 5 of 5

The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. This is our second stay @ the Haas House and both visits were great. The location speaks for itself!

Great home in a wonderful Tubac location

  • 5 of 5

We've been to Tubac before and like the area. This home's location was perfect for us being within walking distance to restaurants and the De Anza trail for hiking/birding. We spent a peaceful week here and would definitely return. The owners were very communicative. We had no issues with anything.

The house was clean and well stocked with cleaning supplies (dish, body, and clothes washing soap) as well as all paper products including extras so no fear of running out.

All appliances and TV in good working order. And the beds were very comfy.

The garage was available for parking, which isn't always the case on rentals, so really appreciated being able to park our vehicle inside.

The owners were great to work with and if we return to the area we would love to stay in this home again.

Tubac home

  • 5 of 5

We have been coming to Tubac for vacation every year for 5 years; this has been our best rental "home away from home" (we have been staying in Barrio townhouses before). The house had everything that we needed; we especially loved beautifully decorated patio where we spent relaxed time in the shade listening to birds, watching hummingbirds eating from their feeder and taking a bath. The house is right across from Tubac village with its restaurants, shops and galleries. Tubac Center of the Arts is like a small museum. There are historic landmarks in Tubac and around; trails to walk in the shade of trees along the river; Madera canyon nearby for more serious hikers, wineries about an hour away, Smithsonian-Harvard observatory on top of the mountain (they do bus tours, views from the observatory are stunning), Kitt Peak observatory an hour away, and beautiful mountains wherever you look. You can go swim in a nice pool with a hot tub. This is a place to have relaxed vacation yet every day you can do something different and memorable. We highly recommend Tubac and this house which we hope to stay in again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the nice review of our home in Tubac. We tried to meet guests' expectations of a vacation home with all the amenities for a relaxing vacation. The Tubac area is a lovely location to meet one's expectations of things to do , to shop and to be entertained. Nature takes care of the views, stars, wildlife and welcoming hiking paths.
