This beautiful 3 bedroom 1901 Victorian Cottage is what Prescott is all about. Located in the downtown historic district, it is within easy walking distance of all that Prescott has to offer, including fine restaurants, theaters, art galleries, antique stores, boutiques, historic Whisky Row and the courthouse square where many exciting activities happen through out the year.
I have lived in Prescott since 1995 with my husband and yellow lab, Chief. I am a realtor with Red Arrow Real Estate and love our historic neighborhoods and homes. We love Prescott and can't imagine living anywhere else!!
Karen Sowards purchased this house in 1998
The property is well located for walking to our beautiful downtown square, shopping, restaurants, entertainment. The home is spacious and comfortable with lots of historic charm.
There are two bedrooms on the main floor and one upstairs, making it very comfortable and private for groups of up to 6.
This home is a great place to stay located in a charming neighborhood. We loved all the little extra touches throughout the house. It's very easy to walk to town from this location too.
cute, well appointed house. everything you needed was provided. clean and comfortable. the only downside was the busy street it was located on. road noise from the diesel trucks and emergency vehicles was annoying. it was tough to sit outside and enjoy the quiet ambience of a mature prescott neighborhood. that being said, if the windows were closed, the house was quiet inside. the traffic died down at night and there was no trouble sleeping.
The cottage was just what we needed. bright, clean, and a close walk to town. recommended.
The property was very clean, comfortable, and organized. Everything needed was provided. The beds were super comfy and we slept great. The house was quite charming and we enjoyed the decor. The location was great as it was walking distance to downtown. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Prescott. I'm looking forward to next year's return!
Our family of six enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped with all that we could need. Comfortable beds along with very cozy livng area. We would love to stay again when we are inn Prescott again.
We had a great time at the Victorian Cottage. It is in the middle of Prescott and is a great 3 bedroom-1 bath home that is beautifully restored and maintained by the owner. We were three adults who were concerned about having only one bathroom but it worked out beautifully! The décor of the home is so inviting and having the modern convenience of heating and air conditioning (together with an electric heating stove in the living room) only added to the comfort. You can experience the past and enjoy the comforts of modern day. Any questions we had we could message the owner and she got back to us promptly. We will stay here again when we come to Prescott!

Prescott is known as 'Everyone's Home Town' and is rich in old west history and charm. Our downtown square has frequent arts/crafts shows and many festivals and musical activities throughout the year. It is surrounded by national forest, has several lakes within 10 minutes of downtown and numerous hiking trails. We are also a short day trip to the red rocks of Sedona, the old west mining town of Jerome, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon and the Phoenix/Sedona area.
