About this property

This vacation getaway on 2.91 acres has something for every member of your family. Whether you prefer soaking in the hot tub or the motion of a rocking chair, you can enjoy beautiful mountain views during every season while relaxing on either of the two covered full length back porches. The fire pit across the yard is the perfect place to make smores while reminiscing about your favorite family memories. The recreation options continue on the inside with a pool table, ping pong table, and Xbox video game system. There are games and puzzles for the younger children as well. Staying warm will never be a problem with a gas fireplace on each of the two cabin levels. The basement has a bedroom, a bathroom and a 700+ square foot entertainment room with surround sound and a queen size pull out sofa. The main floor has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen with gas stove, living room, dining area, and full size washer and dryer. The scenic views are visible from the living room and two of the bedrooms on the main level through the sliding glass doors in each of these rooms that lead out to the porch.

Wonderful Family Time

Our family all met for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful!! We had 13 staying there and there was plenty of room with a lot to do. We had a couple of questions and she was very quick to respond!! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Beautiful location and views

The location and place is lovely! There were a few items that flopped, but not much in the Hosts control. The satellite tv didn’t work, the basement tv (with the surround sound) was broken, so we couldn’t do our family movie night in the larger space. It could use a handy man staying to fix some odds and ends things… wiggly stair railing, broken chairs, fix the fireplaces, damaged walls need repaired and a fresh coat of paint would help, things like that…. Over all the property is lovely and the beds were comfortable. The view was absolutely amazing with the fall colors! Host was responsive to our struggles with the TV but was not resolved during our stay.

Birthday Trip

The cabin was as expected from the pictures. Easy to find with gps. I did have to contact owner for entrance details the day before but she responded very quickly. Only mishaps was the fireplaces were not working and the television. It was suppose to be Dish satellite but we were not able to watch anything on tv. The only smart tv was in the basement and it worked but the screen was half messed up. The pool table did keep us entertained at least. Overall not a bad stay.

Spacious Cabin with Great Views, but Needs Some Improvements

We enjoyed our time in the mountains. The cabin had plenty of space for our crew. The view was great, but there is a good bit of noise from the highway. We had several problems during our 5 night stay. The dishwasher did not work. Neither one of the fireplaces worked, which would have really been nice with the colder weather. There were several other minor things as well. Two of the three bedrooms upstairs don’t have a closet to hang your clothes in. Some of the mattresses and linens need replacing. The cabin is just dated in general, but with an overhaul could be great.

Less than expected

The cabin was nice, but the hot tub had jets missing and only two jets worked. Hot tub wasn't clean, had trash in it. Wifi was terrible. You could connect, but couldn't get online, or use wifi calling. However, the view from the main floor was amazing, and the cabin was very nice.
