This Historical Home was built in the early 1900's. Totally renovated, with all the charm of New Orleans. Our New Orleans Creole shotgun home is very spacious with new furniture and all the making of a comfortable home.

The Historical Bywater neighborhood is an artsy area with easy access to the Quarter, Frenchman St, Crescent Park, cafes, restaurants, grocery, park, and bars all within walking distance.

Welcome, and enjoy our Historic Bywater neighborhood.

We are close enough to the French Quarter to walk (15 -20 minute walk), but still far enough to not have the noise, expensive parking and activity of the French Quarter. If the walk is too much just call UBER FOR AROUND $6-10.00 (taxi), or rent a bike.

The Brennah Rose Place has a Living room with hardwood floors, TV, sofa and 2 chairs. Kitchen is fully furnished, (but who wants to cook when your in New Orleans and you have all this good food).

Stairway/Bedroom has a daybed with a trundle.

Bedroom #2 has a new queen bed and mattress and hardwood floors.

Master bedroom is upstairs and has a new king size bed with a new mattress, also has a full size bed with a new mattress and TV.

Bathroom #1 consists of toilet and combination tub/shower. #2 consist of a toilet and shower. Just about everything NEW.

The Brennah Rose Place has all you need with a driveway and off street parking always close to the house.

About Tony and Cathy

We own and manage The Brennah Rose Place and three other rentals. We are from the out skirts of New Orleans known as St. Bernard Parish, only minutes away from the Quarters. Our families were fishermen and farmers. We grew up on the bayou where we learned to live off the land. We also had a Seafood Business where we sold and shipped shrimp, crabs, oysters, and fish, mostly to New Orleans and Baltimore. Our families and us all share the love for our beautiful city "New Orleans".

Great place to stay!

The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. Just like home. It is located close to everything we wanted to see. We all had a great time. Cathy was just a call away if we need anything. When we come back to NOLA we will stay here again. We love it!

Lovely House and Host

Cathy and Tony thought of everything when it came to preparing their house for guests - tons of towels and blankets, and even shampoo and make-up remover. Our group of 7 women were very comfortable in the house, which has a fun and quirky decor, and lovely porch. Cathy was very accommodating and checked-in to make sure our arrival went smoothly.

The house has a great location. We never waited longer than five minutes for an Uber pick-up, and all of New Orleans' top sites are a short ride away - and many are probably walkable if you aren't visiting in August :)

I would definitely recommend Cathy's house, and would stay here again myself!

We loved this wonderful, historical home in New Orleans and their owners.

This is a charming "alley" home, filled with reminders of the days gone-by and the current time. We loved every inch of it. The owners were wonderful, gave us sound advice when we heard that tropical storm Cindy was on it's way, encouraged us to stay calm, even offered to give a refund if we thought it was necessary to leave! While we would not have asked for that, the offer was typical of their generous offer to help. They suggested fun and interesting places to visit, told us how to find great places to visit, and made the visit a lifetime experience. We will certainly recommend it to others, and stay there again if we return to NOLA land!

Friendly neighborhood, close uber drive to French Quarter

The Brennah Rose Place is located in a very friendly neighborhood with parking available directly in front of the rental. Brennah Rose is very spacious and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Cathy was quick to respond with answers in regard to dining in the area even though she was celebrating her birthday! She made follow up calls to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

We enjoyed the Joint, Elizabeth's, and Dempsey's all of which are a short walk away. We stopped by Vaughn's after dinner at Dempsey's and enjoyed socializing with the locals, who offered great tourist advice.

We took Uber rides (most of which were excellent, for about $8) to the French Quarter. My husband and son attended a Pelican's game, which my son said was one of the highlights of his trip, and the Uber out was $13, but home was $30. Still better than the hassle of driving!

We took a free walking tour by foot our first day in New Orleans which helped give us a history and also a better understanding of the French Quarter. We also took a Swamp tour (was ok but worth saying we rode on a airboat and the swamp area our guide took us through was beautiful!) We attended a cooking demonstration at the New Orleans school of Cooking which we all enjoyed.

It felt like coming home each night when we returned to Brennah Rose! The front outside light is on a timer which is a nice touch. The back porch looked so inviting, but it was a little cool for our trip so we did not get to enjoy it!

Thank you Cathy and Tony! We throughly enjoyed our stay!

PS the addition of the second bathroom was a good idea!
